You throw an explosive pyre towards the spot where you say blood fall. You crit the darkness! You deal (8+8+6+1) damage! You hear hif coughing and wheezing as if he'd collapse at any second. He is DEFINITELY in critical condition now.

TOP OF INITIATIVE

Grot starts his turn and jumps off the table away from Aurel. "Great goblin god! Give me da strength ta bring down ma enemy!" He raises his sword and puts his hand down to the floor. "TURN UNDEAD!" A bright light fills in the darkness. It claws at him at first, dealing (4) damage, but a figure appears before him, screaming in pain and clawing at its chest before it turns to gear and ash.

BUT something else also happens; Aurel is pushed into the wall, taking (4+5) radiant damage and takes (1+3+3) damage for slamming into the wall and is immobilized! (no one can see this happen, except for a loud thump and a chair falling over.)

Grot stands normally and searches the body and tosses out the knife and finds a bag. He looks through it and tosses it too. He then finds in the pile of ash what he's looknig for; socks. He then happily stuffs them in his pocket with the other two pairs form the others and has a delightful grin on his face.

The bartender comes in after a moment and speaks. "I never would've guessed he was a vampire... Thank you. For your troubles, don't worry about any damages, I got rooms upstairs that not many know about if you need to hide for the night. No one but me knows about them. You can rest up there and heal your wou-" Aurel comes out of invisibility at this point and looks gravely wounded. "Wounds..."

Take the bag and look through it

Inside, you find 6 platinum, 239 gold, 33 silver and 7 copper. This guy must've been wealthy. There is also a red ruby inside as well. What luck finding his coinpurse! Grot looks at you as if about to ask a question but the bartender begins to speak.

Examine the knife.

Its a widow's knife, and you sense no magic from it. His clothes however...(not the cloak)

Symon looks around at the damage, "Oh. S-s-sorry. D-do you have a b-broom or s-something...?"

The bartender reaches under the bar and pulls out  broom and some blankets. "I won't say nothing to the guards. Just get yourselves upstairs now. Like he's doing." He points to Bouchart who is now headed upstairs.

I'll go upstairs and look around.

You go upstairs and find several rooms; all of them are empty except for a bed and a nightstand. Its rather basic and, honestly, rather peasanty for an inn. No one is in any of the rooms and there are eight rooms total.

"Grot... you bloody fool!"

Grot looks at him, and stands confused. He heals you with his healing word for (surge+2). You're now only bloodied. You start to hobble over to the bar.
