Laugh and then shout out to Bouchart

"You look like you've had a rough night! Care to join us? We have food and gold aplenty"

Stops for a moment so he's walking beside Nadarr

"A word of advice... boasting about having gold in the cities of Amn is a good way to get the interest of the many thieves around here. And while I don't doubt our ability to stop strongarms from robbing us at knifepoint, some of the lighter fingered thieves are very good."

Karl glances over Bouchart.

"We'll all be having rough nights for a while to come. I appreciated being able to spend one last night in a fine bed."

"We should probably think of a strategy and decide on who does what if we encounter any problems. Firstly we have to define who can do what. I'll start with myself. I'm handy with daggers and know a spell or two so I'll most likely be in the back lines and front shadows."

((You guys are really the worst guests. No thanks for the man who got you a place to sleep for the night? You even broke my chamberbasin. Why I oughtta... Ah well. At least the house was pretty and food tasty.))

((Hey, Xeron is exempt from this! He gave Petra a gift of thanks. Alright, it was for......strange....reasons, but he thanked her nonetheless

((*cough*, I sort of assume that's handled in the unspecified conversations. While it might not come up, Karl was grateful. ;) ))

Karl raps his knuckles on his chestplate, the armored gauntlet ringing off the solid metal. I'll direct enemies attention to myself - I think of all of us here, I'm best suited to taking a hit and staying in the fight. I can also aid those close to me, either to heal their hurts or make them harder to hit."

Firstly we have to define who can do what.

Symon mumbles, "I-I'm not much of a fighter, but I'll try my best."

"I am a very successful thief."

Symon blushes and looks down at his feet.

You travel down the path for a few minutes and then see a burnt pile of corpses and three heads on pikes. Bouchart recognizes them right away as the three who attacked him the night before. There is nothing except the wooden pikes and the burnt corpses. Whatever did this was merciless and brutal.

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

"Well, see i have started my career back in Baldur's Gate whe-"
Gonzou observes the rather disturbing scene and stops his story to make a passing comment
"How distasteful...."

Symon stops for a couple seconds and looks at the bodies.

Stops and gives a disgusted look at the way the bodies were massacred

"Anybody recognize these fellows? Maybe we could get a hint on why they were murdered."
