(What is taking up my time: School's back in, running various games, tumblr, homestuck, homestuck on tumblr.

I've been thinking, maybe we should leap forwards a few months or possibly even year(s), so that we have more options.  Thoughts?)

Progress: there's going to be a major timeskip soon so yeah.

The storm let up in the early hours of the morning, while all were asleep but Kari, whose turn it was to watch. As the sun rose in the clear sky, everyone began to wake, finding they had all huddled into a big pile with the smelly bearskins near the fire. Despite this, some did not want to move yet, the morning being cold and the "bed" (though smelly) being warm.

Cish had some trouble rousing his friend, who woke up quite pale and watery-eyed, sniffling profusely.

((I'd like to take on a more military role, with maybe a bit of experimental DF science on the side.  Grabbing any spare materials and plants, grinding them, mixing them, and seeing what I can get.  And yes, I am aiming for things that explode.))

RadtheCad gets up, stretches, and peers towards the man.

"Our lack of ability to communicate with this guy is pretty egregious."

Rad makes gesiculations around his face, relating to the man's.

Cish, guessing the meaning, nods. After helping Rakbin to his feet, Cish points out the exit. "Ig-alu, ad oma umcos." Then he remembered. "Eh... oma." He made a walking motion with his fingers. "Umcos" He mimed several boxes.

(I'll probably act as a 'jack of all trades' until people build up their skills, then focus on mining when the farm can be left alone, acting as a part time bowman when needed.  Maybe some experiments after things begin to slow down on the mining front (ie. enough space, waiting for ore to be finished smelting, ect).)
