It has small feet. It should be able to waddle.

It's got tentacles. It should be able to slither around.

It could extend its second mouth, latch on to things, and pull itself around.

As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

I think it's a second mouth like a Xenomorph.

That's what I'm assuming, only this is Bay12, so obviously it has 20 times more practical uses.

Well, it should be Interesting to see how it turns out then.

Out of curiosity Piecewise, does the final system have multiple base creatures, or do they all start with an arthropod base?

when do you assume ER is going to be over? there doesn't seem to be many situations where everyone can be irreparably killed, or when everything has been fixed, what is the end going to be? a major assault on the main stronghold, fighting for their lives, or what?
Lets see...depending on the speed we're going...and the paths chosen...upgrades gotten...One to four years.
IC or IRL years?

Looks like Single 69.

What looks like the beginnings of a second jaw form inside the already massive, cavernous mouth of the creature.
Ooh.
How's the little guy looking, overall? I'd like to do another 69.
Real life years.

I am considering it. Specifically ones that actually grow a set of legs naturally.

Though getting to that more complete test means I have a lot of stuff to do still. 71 substances, each with 12 levels of trait evolution. And I'm adding more substances every day.

So a single 69 causes the creature's second jaw to form completely, but it still lacks teeth. This isn't an Alien style extending mouth, more like a secondary pair of mandibles (in the bone sense of the word) within the existing mouth. Potentially two rows of teeth that work independently.

Sorta like this:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I'll give a complete overview of the creature once it's finished, which considering how it's starting to look a bit sicker, should probably be soon.

Let's do a single 5 and be done with it.

No, screw that.  Let's do a single 41 and see what changes on it, so as to test later changes to the serum.

How sick is it? If semi-not-dieing then +1 plus another 69.
