If we do make a new fort based around this idea i think we should at least have one military person with dual knifes so we arnt totally useless against FBs

Knifes? That is too OP in my opinion... Training axe, now that is nice balanced weapon^^. Also, he should be a sherriff, we could use justice system^^

Edit: Use leather+bone armor, with wooden buckler... Call Him Urist McNotSureWhatWeAreDoing, McNotSure for short^^

Comparing the time when things go Moria and and the time when he is just surrounded by overqualified dwarfs who won't get his philosophy, I think his life could become quite depressing

Building destroyers don't need living bait, only a building to destroy, and artifact buildings can't get destroyed...
And kill that FB the dwarfy way.

I've sent a PM to shadowhammer, who is next on our ridiculously short overseer list. I hope i can get away with filling in as game organiser.

And i'm strictly against military. Whenever you run into troubles that you can only solve via emergency draft that means your defensive architecture is lacking. If nothing else helps, okay, you might draft a bunch of wrestlers instead of watching the fort fall to civilian panickry, but once the deed is done, you'd better fix the problem properly and dissolve the squad.

Edit: yes, that means no fortress guard. Justice has to be meted out extracurricularly or not at all.

What about justice system? Sheriff will have to be put in squad (i think anyway) unless we want hamerrer to deal with petty mandates/upset nobles..

I'd say, we see if he makes a call himself and skip to Arcvasti in a few days. However, for Larix declaring himself as organizer we could also stick to his opinion if he has one.

Yeah, i'd say the same - if ShadowHammer doesn't respond until Sunday, the turn is skipped and goes over to Arcvasti.

If anyone reading the thread is interested in taking a turn, now would be a good time to join! You wouldn't have to wait long to play!

As I said in one of my previous posts, i would love to have another go at this^^ But I would prioritize fresh blood so i want currently last spot on the list, with possibility of my turn being delayed in benefit for any newcomers that may appear^^
