It doesn't look like it - going back through the updates (post-revelation), only looks like we've ever received a +1 mood bonus at most.

I believe a few moods give +2 to certain skills, but most of them are +1.

Strategy and Swords

If they exist, we don't seem to have gotten one yet.

Oppose Swords

We need to break the cap before we can get any further in swords, and that means archery or polearms first. And if we put points into them FIRST then we get MORE points when we do swords.

If we do swords first, we end up being better at archery and polearms.

Week 19: Qualified

2x Strategy 1
Strategy 5
Swords 0(3)
Archery 2
Dance 1

Wasn't entirely sure how to count this, notably the double votes (traditionally I just use them as two votes for the suggestion, but that never results in doubling that skill). I'm fine with negative/conditional votes, but I'm inclined to count them as your actual votes; so when Elephant opposed swords I took that as shifting his vote.

All that being said, we had way, way more support for Strategy of some kind than anything else, so I figured that meant double strategy.

Whoa.

And Axespendable has very nearly mastered the art of war. Well, infinite supply land war, I guess.

Which I'm sure you'll trust us to not go behind your back and murder your guards for.

Naturally.

Bwahahahahaha. Useless accounting, they said. Let's just go for it, they said.

Don't think our pet witch can murdersteal our way out of this one.

Gods damn it.

We are now officially in a Nightmare Queen situation. We've been handed ledgers full of complex figures detailing the financial security of the entire kingdom for the entire year, and we have absolutely, completely, utterly no idea what we're looking at.

So we're going to just sort of give a command without having the slighest idea what its effects will be.

Raise the taxes and piss everyone off, since that seems to be our MO.

We just learned how to send our armies out to utterly crush everything, so if people don't like the higher taxes... too bad!

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

Actually, if we're in ye olde setting of Happy Peasants = Pissed of Nobles; we'd probably be better off lowering taxes if we wanted to piss off the people who are in a position that can plot to kill us. Pushing for a higher quality of life for the filthy mongrels will probably make the incoming murder attempts skyrocket.

We actually haven't touched our starting funds at the small expense of keeping the kingdom in the dark ages for a few more centuries. We can probably get through with any option.

I don't know what happens if we Raise Taxes, so that's what I'm voting for.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Keep taxes the same.  No doubt something needs to be done, so let's disappoint our finances!

Status Quo is God.

I'm betting if we raise taxes we incite a revolution and if we lower them we go bankrupt.
