Welcome to the God Game Extravaganza Take Two! This time I'll try to make things not lead to getting mauled so fast, eh?

Our world is made of two definitive parts, Corpus, the mortal plane, and Aetherius, the twisting nethers surrounding it, which contain the myriad and mysterious Outer Planes. Together, this cosmic jumble makes up the Realm of Lar. Our entire reality is made of twelve basic elements which comprise all of comprehension, known as the Mortal Elements.

These elements are arranged in a series of pairs.Frost extinguishes Fire, Death ends Life, Order quells Chaos, Air erodes Earth, and Light banishes Darkness. Above all these stand the forces which control the basic nature of the planes, Time and Force. Each of the forces of existence combines one or more of these powers, which form the fabric of reality. Contesting powers balance each other, as an experienced student of the Mystic Arts may learn, and this balance is the key to complete mastery. This reality is presided over by mysterious and powerful beings of these Elements, generally comprised of the purest essence of three of them, invisible beings who harness and channel the energy of Creation to accomplish amazing feats. However, while there are twelve Mortal Elements, there is one Immortal Element at the center of these basic forces, which is beyond comprehension, occupying the space no lesser force fills, known as Aether. It is from this that the beings known as Gods are created.

You, from this undefinable cosmic substance, have begun to form, drawn and organized as by an undetectable field by the inexplicable calling which draws substance from nothingness. A dim awareness begins to form from the organization of primal force, and you become aware of your surroundings. Eddies of substance drift through the soup of your creation, like tongues of fire in the darkness. The lack of identity you feel is disconcerting, and you half-consciously begin to define yourself, that you might ground your form to a sense of being. As you begin to manifest, the soup of Elemental Energy which composed your loose premature consciousness begins to stabilize into the three Elements which comprise the essence of your person. What do you call yourself, godling?

Well, let's plan ahead.

Donut was Life, Fire, and I believe Chaos. The other Lar god was Life, Darkness, and Force.
Let's break the mold.

First: No life. Let's do Death instead.
Nextly, Chaos and Darkness, both obscuring stuff. Let's go with Light. This makes a neat contrast with what one might expect off the bat.
Finally, Fire and Force. One of those is destructive, the other powerful. Let's go with something nurturing and seemingly weak--Air, although Water would also be a nice choice if available.

So. A god of Death, Light, and Air. Sounds like a heavenly thing. Maybe The Gatekeeper?
