Alright, now comes the fun part!- Oh, when I feel more like it. Think I will be called Fe, though. And dark purple hair, because... purple is a good color.
((YouGottaHaveBlueHair
I'd written a short intro but I think I should rewrite it in light of your more recent post. Next turn.))
((I love the idea of doll Tyranids.))
"I have the Ace of Spades, it's the best slicer I got. Never tested it against a safe before, but it should work."
You are near the door leading into the Staff Only area. You know there is at least one guard somewhere in there. The guards in the casino floor are still trying to figure out what's going on and struggling against the crowd.
: North access. Code 7. : comes a voice from the radio on one of the guards' belt.
((If Napoleon was a Tyranid, he'd be a combination of a Norn Queen and a Swarmlord. Of course he'll never touch their level, not that he wouldn't try. Fun fact: Napoleon's ability was largely inspired by the Tyranids.))
♚The Doll Prince: A Step Ahead♚
"If it can cut through steel then that's still better than nothing," Napoleon said as he continued to scan the main floor. Though there were security guards on the floor already, they seemed to be confused by the alarm and the panicking patrons. They don't know what's really going on... at least yet. Remembering the door that Jack knocked the guard through, Napoleon figured that they can get into the area and make a run for the vault. They should have about twenty minutes or so before the guards come to where they're currently located and see their unconscious comrades lying on the floor, one of which has possibly fatal cranial damage due to Jack's club.
"North access: Code 7," the radio on one of the guards squawked, causing him to jump slightly. Make that five minutes or so.
"Come, the guards don't know what happened here but they will soon enough," Napoleon said as he used one hand to pick up the radio. Turning down the volume, he clipped it to his pantaloons' waistband. "We can eavesdrop on the guards' communications and act accordingly once inside. Now, let's go find that vault!"
Napoleon, the fat doll, and Jack will enter the staff-only area. At the first junction they arrived to, Napoleon will leave a few knee-length dolls there, taking care to making them blend in with the color of the walls. These dolls will ambush any guards that enter the area, beating them up or at the very least stalling them so that the two men can find the vault. The fat doll will be used to take down any guards already present in the area.
You enter the staff only area and leave a few knee-high troublemakers to watch your back.
The fat doll is not as fast as you'd like, being more focused on being massive than on anything else (you weren't really planning that far ahead when you summoned it). You reach the hallway with the security door which now has a very alert security guard.
"Hey! You weirdos stay where you are!" he shouts as he sees you approach, reaching for his gun.
You and Jack immediately take cover. You direct the doll to charge while Jack gets a card ready. The guard is quicker than the doll, getting off several shots before it can reach him. He hits it center of mass with the first two, the head with the next. Professional aiming.
Jack throws the 9 of clubs at the guard. The card shines and disappears as it hits him but he doesn't even notice the strike.
When he sees how little the doll's been affected, he targets its leg next, tearing it to pieces with three more shots. Your ears are not pleased with such loud noises in such a confined space.
Jack throws the 10 of clubs at the guard. The card hits him straight in the head, knocking him back. While he tries to regain his bearings, Jack runs towards him.
Kosak Durar:
"Ow! Wait, where'd you go?!"
Um... Dwarf Fortress night vision from the previous mission?
Well, night vision can't do anything against active camouflage. That and a mild concussion prevent you from seeing your target.
Brian Hoss, Maximus: Central Fore Way Station
Is John good to go, or should I bring him to the medbay?
He probably won't bleed to death anytime soon but his arm is still unusable and still hurts like hell. You don't think you have anything that can heal him quickly. You'll have to take him to the medbay if he wants to regain use of his hand.
John, Inside the Maximus
"I'll be fine! I just need to get a real weapon!"
Seriously, while the target is distracted, let's get those focusing lenses for this laser. Melt him the second he attacks again.
You summon the focusing lenses and scan the area for targets. You can't see anything.
<Svajoklis, Maximus>
Fire a shot at where the bot pilot might be from what I remember of his direction and speed. Then see if there are any cables or something to help Kosac get back on the ground.
You make a quick calculation about where your target most likely is and fire a shot. You don't see the shell impact anything. You don't know if you missed or if it's camouflage is hiding the results of the shot.
Regardless, you can't see any activity around it, so you find a long cable and go fish Kosak. He's not making it easy, blindly punching the air and yelling about space ghosts. You manage to pull him back after he calms down somewhat.
