"Okay, something is screwing with the time here.  I really hope it's just an error in system time or time dilation, because I don't want to be fighting robots from the future, if you know what I mean.  Going to pop this door back open."

Take the salvaged laser and cut this door open!  Keep tweaking it as needed to get this door unsealed.

You dig into your pockets while the bouncer watches with a smug expression. Unfortunately, your pockets are as empty as they were when you began, no objects have magically materialized in them.
"Please, allow me Sir." Jack says to you, turning his hand for an instant to show you the Ace of Hearts tucked in his palm.
"Hi buddy." he says as he approaches the bouncer.
"I'm Jack. Jack Krank." he adds, extending his hand for a handshake.
The bouncer looks at his hand for a moment before accepting it. You see a faint light as their hands touch. The bouncer's expression instantly changes as their handshake occurs, his face showing a big, vacant smile.
"Now we're friends, right?"
The bouncer seems unsure for a second. He nods.
"That's right. Really good friends. Think you can do your friends a favor and let them in?"
The bouncer mumbles something about an invitation.
"Yeah, we forgot them at home. But you know us, right? You know we have them. On my word as a friend. So it's just like having them with us, right?"
The bouncer considers that for a second and then nods again.
"Perfect! Thanks buddy!"
The bouncer smiles and waves while the two of you walk into the Casino. As the two of you walk through a small entrance area, Jack whispers from behind you, using your body as cover.
"That was an Ace and he was pretty weak-willed so it should last for a while. Long enough to forget. As long as nobody checks on him, we should be fine."
You go through a set of doors and into a larger room. A young girl is waiting on the other side of a booth, surrounded by various expensive-looking coats and bags.
"Hello gentlemen and welcome to the Queen's Tower Casino. Any coats, bags or other objects you wish to check-in? May I remind you that checking-in all firearms before entering is mandatory."
The Casino proper is through a set of soundproofed doors.

♚The Doll Prince: Uninvited Guests♚

It turns out that Jack is pretty useful after all. Napoleon is looking forward to seeing whatever the pleb can do with the other cards. All of this seemed oddly convenient to him. After all, what are the odds of a card-wielding man accompanying him to a place, which is named after the person he is seeking, where his abilities will really shine? Given that he seemed to be in an eldritch location, it is extremely likely that the Queen is actively constructing a scenario for him to follow to a currently unknown end. Either that or this is all a dream and Napoleon is still at home, facing yet another day in his boring life.

Shuddering at the implication, Napoleon responded, "Thank you but I'm fine. As for any weapons, I... don't carry any."

<'Other than my brilliant mind and a swarm of dolls,'> he added mentally.

Thinking for a moment, Napoleon continued, "Anyway, my friend and I are new in town and we're interested in whatever amenities and services your casino provides. Do you care to spare a brochure?"

Receive a brochure, if any, and enter the casino proper

Can I maybe advance in reverse of the spell's travel path? intercept it so it doesn't get past us? How far off are we from the main fire line it's using as its primary mode of transit? If we're on it already, did I manage to stop it from getting past us?

Maximus: Starboard Hangar Section, temporary storage

"Okay, something is screwing with the time here.  I really hope it's just an error in system time or time dilation, because I don't want to be fighting robots from the future, if you know what I mean.  Going to pop this door back open."

Take the salvaged laser and cut this door open!  Keep tweaking it as needed to get this door unsealed.
You operate the laser perfectly and manage to unseal the door without any problem. You open the door with the help of your teammates and make your way into a temporary storage area, a labyrinth of storage containers. You link up with Brian there.

Brian Hoss, Maximus: Starboard Hangar Section, central hub
Are there any blood streaks indicating a body being dragged, or is it one large puddle?
Either way, start heading for the waystation as fast as possible.

With a bit more thorough examination you determine that there is indeed a faint trail of blood on the floor and some walls, though it's hard to spot. It looks old, dried. It leads towards a nearby living area.

You make your way to a temporary storage area leading to the Way Station, a labyrinth of storage containers. You meet up with the rest of the team there.

John, aboard the Maximus

"Yeah, no, I'm not buying that."

Upon meeting Brian, John waved.  "Hey!  Seen a medbay around here?  Svajoklis is pretty banged up."

Let's find that medbay.

You find a small office belonging to the manager for this area (one Piffard Hayes). You plug your interface to the office console and gain access to the system. That done, you use your book to 'download' a list of everything that is currently stored here (at least according to the console). There are many entries, though all of them are quite mundane. You mentally scroll through some of them, taking note of the attached notes.

"Okay, three important things. One, there are fifty radioactive emitters here. Might be useful. Two, there's a fuckton of medical minibot canisters, also might be useful. Third, there are, or were, ten thousand Reployers and the dude in charge didn't know what they were or why they were here. Might be related. Ah... I'm starting to feel the lack of arm again. We should hurry."

"What is a reployer anyway?"  <<Icarus, do you know what a reployer is?  Sounds like a lot went missing.  Also, what are the radioactive emitters for?>>

Ask.  Ponder if I could use them to recreate the power supply for my rifle.

: Haha! A Reployer? Why, it's the central component of a Turboencabulator, of course. It's one of the greatest advances in engineering. I'm surprised you're not familiar with it. : Icarus responds in a clearly joking manner.
: Seriously though, Reployers don't exist. They're just a joke item, like Headlight Fluid or left-handed screwdrivers, a real-sounding thing you use to send people on a wild-goose chase. If you thought they do exist, don't worry, it's a common mistake. I've had it happen to me before. Once Uncle Roger had me go find a long weight. It was quite boring. :

: Radioactive Emitters? That should be just some highly radioactive material surrounded by a shielding material. There's usually a hole that can open to direct a radiation beam to a target. It was probably meant to be used in one of the science sections or maybe the medical section. As long as the shielding is intact it should be safe. Just be careful, without a proper medical facility it will be hard to heal damage caused by it. :
