Embarking "Male dwarfs dream..."

Well I just made a new embark, getting everything ready and I feel like having some type of connection with the starting 7 dwarfs so I go to the first and I name him something resembling me, I then look to make the rest of the dwarfs and behold, the 6 others are all female. Sitting there I wondered, how the hell this guy got this good of luck. Does he have friends higher up? Like come on! This is just asking for dirtying things to happen.   8)

On a separate note, Spores do not cause any stimulation, so reproduction for dwarves is kinda, boring and efficient.

I do what I want! You cant control me! Spores or no spores why would they have a husband and wife? if the child could be from any dwarf then why the family system? Can the dwarfs choose whose spores to accept?

Now while I'm pretty sure this was done in jest, it will still rub people the wrong way, considering that Graknorke wasn't trying to be mean and that this really isn't the place for DF discussion. That's why there's a giant section of the forums for all sorts of DF-related stuff. You're not going to have a lot of response here (especially because people in the lower half of the forums tend to be considerably removed as a community from the upper half which deals exclusively with DF), so it is within your best interest to post there.

Well, to be fair, it does involve spores for Dwarves.

On the other hand it pretty much involves various bodily fluids, so there's that dirtiness.

I agree. It's not really healthy for humans to consider one of the core aspects of their species as shameful and unworthy of serious conversation, as something to be laughed at and looked down upon.
