Oh man, that new colorist he hired is pretty damn good!

And aww. I don't remember what exactly that's calling back to, but I'm assuming something to do with Forgath. But I doubt he'd be discarding Oblivious for it - he's a barbarian, just go duel-wielding.

Thunt does seem to like rather metaphysical, seemingly all-powerful dungeon challenges.  Theoretically I guess epic wizards made these for their own reasons, or some deity.

Usually there's supposed to be some in-universe explanation, I think, or maybe that's just how our DM rolled :P  Goblins is a parody, after all.  "An insane epic wizard did it" is plenty of explanation for a comic.
