I'm back baby with a little bit of Dwarf fortress Adventure mode:

Blank Plays: Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode Episode 1

Essentially I am on a quest for glory! There are dragons roaming the lands and I want me some, especially after some random elf took one down with an arrow (thank you legends) I'm out for some dragon blood of my own! So join Blank The Ancient (The most bad-ass demigod in the land!) As I try not to die by falling off a cliff!

Episode 2 has arrived! Honestly I'm surprised it's lasted this long already, normally I'm dead by now!

We sort our amour situation! As well as arrive at a new fort in search of companions, doesn't go well. I mean it could be far worse this is Dwarf Fortress, but it could have gone better!

Will you be pursuing any unholy sources of power?

If available, I haven't picked up the reading skill as I couldn't locate any books when I checked through the world. As for becoming a were-beast or vampire that is definitely on the table! Hell I'll even settle for an evil rain doing something to us! Though we'll have to get that far first!

I mean we all know I'm going to die, I think that's inevitable xD Hence why my goal is a battle with a dragon! As long as it is some epic fight I don't mind dieing. If I survive I might just retire and settle down.

So I might have maybe snuck up on some bandits. I mean I beat up a raven, so surely I can take on a few armed thugs right?

Right?

For the record, only clouds can turn you into a husk.

Yeah they are also the only thing that can turn you into a Thrall as well, honestly either one is a pretty good outcome considering the trade offs. Once again if I get the chance I swear to god I'll do it.

So I spend 15 minutes fighting off bandits, I'm not saying much more as I'll spoil the proceedings. Thats a problem with Adventure mode, it's not how you will die. It's when!

Somehow, I don't like the idea of not being able to walk into town without being attacked.

I think the next quote sums up my opinions nicely. . .

Come on! You can do it Blank! Beat those bandits silly! And become their leader by right of conquest!

Also, can't wait for episode 4.

Episode 4 is here, also there will be no leading, only dismemberment and pain. For them of course Blank the Ancient will only accept honorable men into his company (unless I become undead of course)!

Now to try and ramble about things without spoiling the specifics! We have been named! Apparently our slaying of bandits has earned us a place in history so we can at least check our legend after we die. I mean maybe we did die, why don't you find out?
