But the team is thankfully still updating it which is pretty cool.

It used to have 100 people or so constantly, and that's not counting alts. Xype went a bit moneygrabby a while but I guess you can give it to him for needing the cash for the server.

It's pretty casual but I'm having fun with it.

How are the unlimited servers these days? I was looking into returning to wurm, but I don't have a huge amount of time to invest in online, but I would be willing to play the unlimited version if I had it. Might be worth looking into if it has a decent population.

There's a server called Zenath right now that's fairly big. But I suggest going to a page called Wurm-unlimited.com to see the true server numbers since some of them are populated by twice as many toons by alts.

I'm back on WO tho. On Freedom. New toon and everything.
If Threvan would want to join me I won't mind, or anyone else for that matter!

I'll have to build you a portal but i'm in the mood for epic again! And i'm up for picking certain people up on the way too. Who wants to organize an adventure on Wurm with Bay12 again? Thinking of having a new thread to get people riled up but if we don't get enough people interested in here it'd probably not be needed :p

I'm a handy woodcutter, Threvan is an excellent miner (over 90 I think) and Alpha (our third comrad in crime) which I can't remember what stat he was great at besides farming and plate smithing but we're probably a three man group so far. Wurm is waiting


Also should add that they have vastly updated the food system in Wurm. It's interesting.

Not sure about WO, but a recent patch for WU has Oleander as a cooking ingredient. Hint: Oleander is poisonous.

Also about Oleander, fairly sure all the updates come first on WO, then WU. And is it poisonous if you cook it?

Possibly. Drying the plant, at least, does not neutralize the toxins. Of the only three deaths reported from Oleander between 1985 and 2005, one was someone who drank Oleander tea. Another was a woman who applied Oleander extract "orally and rectally" .
