They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

No nether portals period. You can't make them; you need to use pre-existing ones.

We should agree on specific times, that way we can enter nether in groups and avoid dying.
Just stay off the highways and you should be fine.

It's a lot better this way, trust me. It means that there's competition to get the portal first.

By the way, we should look into becoming an actual clan.

Suggestion: Create a lot of lava traps around the place, because we're dorfy and that's what we do.
I suggest pit traps instead. That way, we can steal the stuff of our enemies, and it's not the end of the world if we fall in.

I widened out the halls in the mines for quicker transportation. I'm also going to build my fine quarters soon.

I just got here. I'm not kidding when my first thought upon entering the mines was:
This. Is. So. Dwarven.

Built on a fissure on the ground, hallways that look confusing but make more sense later, layers of rooms, one on top of the other.
I'm gonna enjoy this place.

If you don't mind, can I settle in and make a room for myself? Not a big one, though large enought to have decorations. I already planned it out so it doesn't annoy anybody.
Also, Tree Farm.
And Plump Helmet farm, for both red and brown ones.
Please do build the mushroom farm.

I even have two brown mushrooms to start.

Okay. I have a cow, we just need to lead it about 1000+ blocks. Elephant, it's around -100 X and 100 Z. It may or may not be alive when I come back. Elephant, you have a lead. Do your thing.

Definitely dwarven, but not dwarven enough for the Dwarves of Bay 12. I will have chicken sacrifice machines up soon enough.
