Heresy, shmeresy. Can't punish a man for being so undeniably handsome in the spirit world that all the spirit wives get jealous and send their husbands after you.
((Oh god, my wife got me stuck on this Japanese romance show, and you sound exactly like my favorite character from it.))

Alright, this is going to be !!FUN!!. Let's get ready to die horribly to a fucking demon!

Dodge rolls: (Everyone tried to dodge, we're assuming.)

Xerxes - 2
Xanaros - 10
Susanowa - 11
Glob - 61

Glob takes 7 damage, which comes out to five after toughness. He has ten wounds left.
Xanaros still takes one hit after dodging one, and receives 2 damage, or zero after toughness.
The building has a giant gaping hole in the front from the krak grenade. You could probably jump out of it with an basic agility test.

 Initiative:
Scum - 2+1 = 3
Xerxes - 2+3 = 5
Xanaros - 3+2 = 5
Susanowa - 3+3 = 6
Daemon - 6+3 = 9
Glob - 2+9 = 11
Metalus - 3+10 = 13

The remaining scum see what is in the street and decide that no, they are NOT going to be fighting a goddamn daemon over some scuzzy dudes in a hab, and they hightail it into the manufactorum.

Ugh. This is going to require some special tactics.

Can I full aim now in preparation for the demon coming into view, then close my eyes and have someone else tell me when it comes around the corner so I can shoot? That way I don't take the penalty and I can shoot the demon with my rifle.

Your going to take a rather significant penalty on that shot, but I will allow it. The daemon is still not close enough to be within sight of the doorway, so I assume this action is spent preparing yourself and aiming, which brings the penalty down to -5 rather than -25. I wish you the best of luck, and do not forget you have all your fate points still.

Oh frigg. I swear, this is why they kicked me out of the village. Attempt a simple healing and they rise into the air, chanting horrible names not to be known by most men, and slaughter a few people - it just means the spirits are jealous of me and my large collection of souls! They want to steal them!

Aim gun at daemon. Blamblamblam.
Tell Remuthra's character when the thing comes around the corner.

The good news, you can see the daemon. The bad news... (79) You failed the Willpower save against his Fear effect by six degrees of failure. (18+60 = 78) You are frozen in place, utterly terrified by this unspeakable abomination. You can take no actions until you snap out of it, and you receive 5 insanity points.

Despite the Arbitrator character being obviously built for shooting, Susie's only got 31 BS. Shooting isn't going to be my first choice in any encounter. I've had encounters with autoguns before, though, so I know charging into a lot of full-auto fire might be a bit suicidal.

Despite the gunfire around her, Susie stares at the risen corpse "Holy Emperor, what IS that thing?" Eventually remembering where she is, she quickly aims her shotgun at the demon and fires at it.

And yeah, I'll try to dodge that bullet, please!

((I seem to exude a psyker disruption field. Or possibly I'm just a demon magnet. This is the 2nd time I've had something go horrifically wrong with psychic powers near me, although last time it resulted in unbound demonhost, not just a sissy lesser demon :P))

Good news, you can see the demon. The bad news? You have to roll a 1 to pass the willpower test. (30) You fail by two degrees. Remember, you still have fate points. (57+20 =77) You also are frozen in terror, unable to act until you snap out of it. You take 5 insanity points also.

Daemon

The Daemon advances rapidly. For those of you who can see it, it appears to be a large spider, about a two meters across, with a variety of spiked, barbed, and handed legs. It's body is a rapidly shifting mass of mouths, faces, jagged armor plates, and a pair of evil black eyes, like those of a shark. It is now about ten meters from the stairs.

"Bloodly Warp...When i kill you, YOU WILL DIE" Says Glob

Action:Double tap the Undead guy

You can see the Daemon too! 46! You have failed by three degrees! (31+30 = 61) The most consistent fearful aura EVER! You also are frozen in place, staring blankly at the daemon, unable to act this turn or until you pass a willpower test next turn. Remember, you all have fate points. You only take 3 insanity points!

Oh frigg. I swear, this is why they kicked me out of the village. Attempt a simple healing and they rise into the air, chanting horrible names not to be known by most men, and slaughter a few people - it just means the spirits are jealous of me and my large collection of souls! They want to steal them!

OOC: Did your character say this out loud?

Metalus aims towards the door. When the daemon comes into view, he shall open fire at semi-auto.

His voice crackles through the air. "What did you say, psyker!? Sounds like heresy to me! I'll deal with you as soon as I deal with the daemon!"

You spend your round aiming and preparing yourself for the horrifying aura of the daemon. You will make the Willpower test at -20 rather than -30 when it comes around the corner. Again, good luck.

So, we learned something today: Do not look at the Daemon. Throw grenades at it blindly and RUN AWAY. Oh, I forgot: (21)  You hear sirens. Like, police sirens, in the distance, and the roar of loud engines.

Also, EVERYONE needs to PM me their character sheet, because it's becoming a bit tedious to search through the topic to find them. D:

NaythoufoulbeastofdarknesyeshallnottakemeforIhavethestrengthofmyfathersbehindme

Stop looking at the daemon! Reminisce upon how badass my home planet was or something to boost my willpower and break free of it's spell!
Then grab the closest grenade, heave it at the general location of the daemon, and get ready to run like a little pansy.

Metalus steels himself for what is to come, then shoots the Daemon in the face, and tosses his second grenade at it.

Then he runs like a coward makes a tactical retreat.

OOC: Will PM character sheet as soon as I find it.

I actually think it's really cool how Hans hasn't GMed a game of this before now, have you played it before?

I've actually read through the rule book maybe 3 times now, because I wanted to play a game of it with some guys in high school, but since nobody had ever even heard of it, and I was the only one who had the patience to read the entire book, I had to GM the game without having ever played it before.
It only lasted a single session, and I've still never actually been on the player side of it.

"C'mon girl, you've seen worse than this. Remember that damn wyrd we took down outside Not-A-Chance? He turned himself into lava for god's sakes! This is just a shifting mass of faces and... Oh God Emperor!"

Susie squeezes her eyes shut, squeezes her shotgun's trigger down and prays to the emperor for guidance
