Grab suit. Don suit.

Before this, Check suit. Science Fiction novels have instilled in me the importance of always inspecting your gear before you step through that airlock for me to want to skip that step here. We want to make sure the air tanks are full, and the suit has no punctures.

Yes, check suit, to see if it'd be safe to wear but don't put it on and don't go through. Go back and check whats as far east as we can go.

The suit seems fine to you. It doesn't have any obvious damage, and the in-suit display says that the integrity is good. You put it on. There is a place for a single canister of air at the back.

Given we've seen several large holes in the walls that apparently lead straight into space, yet are not suffering decompression or breathing difficulties, I don't think the suit matters much. Apparently we're some kind of robot or something.
Which, given our job, is actually kind of amusing.

Grab the nearby air tank, inspect it, wear it if good.

Nah, that's an airlock between us and the holes. We're in a pressurized section of the ship.

Mind you, that doesn't rule out the robot hypothesis...

Anyways, it sounds like we still need to find an air canister before we can go further left. Should we try the elevator?

It looks like there is an air canister about 4 feet in front of us.

Yeah, but they're huge. I dunno if they'll fit on our back. I'm thinking they may be the air supply you fill a suit canister from. And are probably thus bolted to the wall.

Wouldn't hurt to make sure, though.

Those tanks may be for refilling purposes.

How convenent that there's both a suit store and an airlock between us and the hull breach in what seems to be the middle of a ship.  :P

If I was designing a good-sized starship, I would stick airtight doors in the middle in case of hull breach.

You'd think the suit store would be on both sides. Or in the airlock. It wasn't the bulkheads that I was poking fun at, it was the fact the only suit store was on our side.

Errr...

Umm...

hrmm...

How about the suit store is on this side because it is closer to the inter-floor elevator?
