I imagine it's more like fixing a broken electrical cable after your house has already burned down.

Clearly the most sensible approach is to gather all ebola patients and blast it into space.

...Then to be safe, blast all of Africa into space as well.

Considering all the diseases there, I wonder which would win as being deadliest continent, Africa or Austrailia?

Africa has plenty of dangerous wildlife anyway, crocodiles, lions, hippos, cape buffalo, plenty of venomous snakes too.

Please tell me when the swine/bird flu has killed more that a thousand people in a few months.

It's because of people like you we're going to have the millions Ebola death toll by the next year. Stop underestimating it.

Assuming you're being serious here: Africa. Of course Africa.

Well, Australia would be if it wasn't a first-world country.

were you being ironic?  the flu kills tens of thousands of people every year.

Ebola's mostly a problem for underfunded underequipped and overworked healthcare workers with gung ho goverments who insist on bringing back each and every Ebola ridden priest they find

Study on bushmeat, specifically bats in Guiana.

Also, apparently some idiot decided to pull the equivalent of shouting 'fire!' in a theatre while on a plane from Philadelphia to the Dominican Republic, except with ebola. No word on whether the guy was also drunk.

Interesting. So I wasn't quite wrong in assuming there's more to the ebolabat consumption than sustenance.
