"Well that's to be expected.  You don't think you hurt yourself did you?"  Elena hopes that she didn't accidentally push Selina too hard.

[RangerCado]

"No... I... think..." Selina is breathing heavily, perhaps dehydrated.

[MrVoid]

"A quick shower and something to eat maybe?"  It was getting a little late Elena realized.  "Let me get you to some water first."  She tries to support Selina as they headed to the nearest fountain.

Selina nods and gladly accepts the help  as she drinks a good liter or so of water from the fountain before letting Elena take her to get something to eat... or the shower, she was still really tired.

Given how much water Selina just drank, Elena decides that it would probably be best if Selina had some time to process it a little.  They head to the bathroom for a shower, Elena was a little sweaty herself from the earlier sparring... maybe...  No, still too early in their relationship for that.  "I'll be getting a shower myself.  Unless there's anything you need for me to do for you, since you're so tired?"

"N-n-no... its... okay..." Selina goes into a shower alone, needing to rest and let her self unwind a bit as she let cool water wash over her.

[MrVoid]

Elena goes and gets a quick shower, rinsing off the day's grime.  If every day was going to be like today, then she was in for an exciting life, she thought as she stepped out and wrapped her towel around herself.  Heading back to her room, she considers what she would be wearing this evening.  She ponders looking at her closet, thinking of Selina, and the nature of their relationship.  "Well, she has to know sometime." she says picking out a short sleeve shirt, a light jacket for her to carry and pants.  Her scars are visible on her arms, and she wonders how Selina will take it as she heads towards the bathroom where she left the girl.

Selina comes out with a towel around her, hoping she could sneak off to her room quickly. As she turns she stops as she sees Elena's scars... so many scars. Selina looked shocked, then concerned... then motherly as she slowly approached and carefully reached a hand over to lightly touch the scars unless indication was given not too.

[MrVoid]

"I figured if we were going to be in a relationship, that you deserve to know."  She presents her arm, "Gifts from my family."

Selina slowly touches them in a great state of shock. Her FAMILY had done this to her!? Selina gulped, quite upset by this... then hugs Elena as tightly as possible, trying to keep herself calm, and comfort Elena about the horrors she had experienced from this. How could anyone do this to someone so caring and kind!?

[MrVoid]

"It's okay, I'm sorry for showing this to you." she says returning the hug, letting herself get a bit wet, "But I figured that now would be the best time."

_{"I... wh-why would... h-h-h-how c-c-c-could th-th-th-they...?"} Selina was crying a little now.

Elena jumps a little at the hug, but quickly returns it.  Surprise hugs were always nice, she gives Selina a quick peck on the cheek as thanks.

Blaster snickers, before giving a grunt of surprise.
"Watch it."
"A bit uncalled for...but I think we should go."

Selina puts her arms up and starts trying to do the shielded punches.

((What are those, again?))

_{"I... wh-why would... h-h-h-how c-c-c-could th-th-th-they...?"} Selina was crying a little now.

((Like Selina hasn't been abused by her (adoptive) family. Or am I confusing her with another Selina?))

((She was never abused by them, just neglected... except by the ones who died in the car crash.))

"Hey now, come on." Elena was already regretting this, but she did consider Selina's almost questions, "But to answer you... greed, fear, lust, evil.  And I let them because they raised me to believe that it was right."  Elena sneers a bit at that last part.
