Elena checks her phone, and sighs, "We're about to meet one.  I don't want to use my power to get you off of that couch, but I need you to be brave."  She extends her hand, "Walk with me to the armory at least.  You'll probably get to decide what to do from there."

Selina takes her hand, shaking a little but is showing a small bit of determination.

"You're going to behave then?"  Elena was upset.  Selina was trusting her other half.  To expect her, or anyone, to do this in her state would be a bit much, but it still felt wrong.  "Let's head to the armory."

A sinking feeling entered Thalsians gut as he heard the alarms buzzing through the city.
This was bad. Worse than bad. How much time of a warning did we have? Is it enough time to get the citizens of the city in the shelters? He couldn't assist crowd control he was too intimidating. Where would he be the most effective? Which terror was attacking? Could he be on the front lines? The doctors in this city are going to be working overdrive. He could help them with fatigue with super endurance.

Thalsians mind was racing to find problems that he could assist with. With this first idea though probably not the best one he got up and headed to the hospital. His mind still scanning for power applications.

The problem was that it wasn't her Path to Victory power--it was the other Entity's, which was a bit different, and which Eden was not used to in time to avoid losing it to Fortuna.

An announcement goes over the PA system.
"Naga has been seen going up the St. Lawrence River, target unknown. Command is considering ordering all cities bordering the Great Lakes to initiate Terror protocols. Heroes are being contacted."

Piasa looks up from and closes her book.
"Well? Is Naga a good enough reason for you to cooperate?"

((I'm sorry, but that's not bravery. That's cowardice. If every time things get rough she uses the other, either consciously or unconsciously to escape facing her problems, then she'll never learn to be strong for herself.))

((Edit: The problem was that Eden's victory shard got damaged in the transaction and she only realised that when she replaced it with the third's, at which point she crashed and lost it. That would mean that there might be a damaged victory shard out there too.))

"See, thing is, I had planned to not actually go out until I had solidified my next serum. If this fucker had come maybe a week or two later we'd be having an entirely different conversation. Right now all I can do is heal people and run around at an olympic speed, and I don't even have a costume or name yet. Best thing to do for now is to have any teleporters bring me critically injured capes. I'll funnel up surplus regen to the emergency ward and operate from there."
