I'm making up the stats for the last session, and I find the roll that basically defines Matrim.

Keen Edge ? Well, it's transmutation and a buff. I intend to get it, problem though is that it will face some serious competition with BETTER spells like Haste, Slow, Heroism, Fly, the X Shape spells, protection from energy, magic circle against evil and others.

Also it was kinda sad... we fell into that ambush and Daeth was one-hit killed by that crit. Someone with higher Strength, I presume ?

That would be my third level domain spell, so you're covered. Or at least I am.

Well, Haste is best of the lot, hands down.

And as Shooer said, it was not an ambush - you guys mindlessly stabilized the gnolls and left them alive who then have freed the tied-up guards. That bunch came back while we were leaving and Daeth got caught... the last became the first...

Hey, this isn't about any arena fights. I'm just naturally inclined to give myself all the buffs before anyone else .

I think one day I am going to create a module where the entire campaign takes place in basically a gladiatory arena.

And the adventure mostly consists of preparing for your matches, hiring people and monsters to assist, and dealing with cheaters as well as the whims of the creators and audiance.

I'd run it... but I think I vetoed my right to ever run a game again >_<

Yeah, the stats seem off... my own noted down damage and kills are as following:
Session 1
22 1 cultist kill
20 1 tentacle lion kill
17 (against mouther)
= 59 DMG

Session 2
14 1 gnoll kill
18 1 gnoll kill
18 1 tentacle lion kill
17 1 gnoll kill
20 1 gnoll kill
= 87 DMG

S1+S2= 146 DMG,

I wouldn't count the arena fights, it had too much of sketchiness. The only crit I had was against Mr Clarmont in the arena where it got sliced up in critical aoo. Kjell never learned the lesson from that, eh?

So, anyone remembers the loot from last session ?

I know we have a cap of human appearance (worth 800 gp), gloves of assistance (worth 120 gp) which I both now have, 2 polearms and 2 armors which Kangur has.

I intend to sell the cap with Daethwin to get maximum price, and then share the 750-800gp, and for the gloves... well, I dunno.

We should also sell the rest of the vendor-trash. The bird figurine, and the rest.

I will also start to make scrolls, for a maximum benefit of 50gp per day. Maybe more if I can indeed make more than one scroll per day. Will be more as I progress in caster levels.
