DnD 5E has been open for playtesting for a while now.

But it says it hasn't been posted in for ages and it might be better to think about starting a new thread...

Yeah, Gazebos are great fun. Pretty darn terrifying though.

I'm not sure what's different between 4.0 and 5.0 yet. I'm wondering, will it be something closer to 3.5, 4.0 or something equally as far from both?

Yeah, Gazebos are great fun. Pretty darn terrifying though.

I'm not sure what's different between 4.0 and 5.0 yet. I'm wondering, will it be something closer to 3.5, 4.0 or something equally as far from both?
I messed with bit a while ago I'm by no mean have much experience with DnD but it felt like a mix between 3.5 and 4.0 you can look at it right now if you want  http://dndplaytest.wizards.com/

On a similar note, I've heard that the DF forums sometimes run DnD-ish games - are they under a particular section of Forum games, or are they floating free?

They should make square gazebos, made out of jello!
