Using magic in combat for the first time you concentrate and unleash a blow of force at the fleeing woman, which catches her on the back of the knee. She falls messily onto the cobblestones, crying out as she does so. Unfortunatly, the spell took more time to concentrate on and unleash than you thought it would, leaving you vulnerable. As you call out for help from gaurds and prepare to take up the chase you feel a sharp pain in your back. Shortly afterwhich you hear a gurgle, and feel whatever has stuck into you snap messily.
The pain is well beyond anything you have experienced and you cry out, stumbling forward.

 :o

If we have any strength left we should turn around and see every detail of our attacker. Fighting back with what we have left.

If not just let our knees hit the floor and try to stay concoius for just a bit longer...

Seriously, taking cover was the far better plan. This was an ambush, our own safety should have been the priority.

That said… Try to take cover from any other arrows. Magically send a message to Barick if possible.

Yah im gonna have to bite the bullet because of misreading.

Also can the GM be more in depth of the characters? For example: "the womans face was pale with worried green eyes...."

Hopefully for each and all characters but if that's too much just the ones that you deem important enough it just adds flavor instead of.

BAM that's what happened.

Fair enough. My updates can already be lengthy at times, so i try to avoid too much over-description, but particularly for short roleplaying or combat posts there really isn't a good reason not to do so.

Maybe running away from whence we came is a good idea?

The pain sears, blinding your vision and bringing you yet more painfully to your knees. Your priority is getting under cover, out of harms way. You crawl underneath a wooden stall, and feel around at your back. Something is jammed there, too wide to be an arrow, but too rough to be the tip of a knife.
The sounds of fighting do not last much longer.  The muffled sound of one man hitting another is ended by the sound of a messy wet gurgle, and soon there all is silent but for the injured moans of one man and the sound of footsteps coming towards you. You are dragged from underneath the stall by a dirty, bloody man. He's dressed in the simple well worn clothes of a peasant traveller, a bow on his back and a naked sword in his hand, dripping with blood. You struggle weakly with him as he hauls you over his shoulder, but he's strong, and you have already grown faint and weak. You are forced to resign yourself to being carried.

...

You must have passed out at some point, but it's hard to tell when. You remember the angry voices of Barick and your Father somewhere in the haze. Being passed from one set of strong hands to another. Soon enough you find yourself in your own bed, sore, but mostly uninjured. A large group is in the room with you. Mostly palace healers and wardens, working magic over you, but also present are more familiar faces. Barick, still dressed in his armor, face grim and angry. Your Father, intent on the remains of the long pin which was one of the weapons used against you. Your mother, hand clasped around yours, deeply worried. And even Ritalia is there, breaking wedding protocol by leaving her seclusion. There are other faces, other bodies in the room, but there are so many that it is hard to make note of them all.
You're concious, but no one yet seems aware of that.

I think a manhunt is in order yes? otherwise just drip back to sleep and wait for us to be more comfortable.

If manhunt then i say
"*loud groin* the man.the woman. where are they?"

If they ask us to be steady or avoid the question then the following.

"you think im going to let them run wild? no not a chance in hell, i won't let them have berth from me."

To noticeable, it is better to just send out feelers then have agents integrate themselves into whatever organization that attacked us. Then when the time comes we then bring down the hammer.

____

Do you know who attacked me?
-Give them the description of the women and man that we last saw before hell broke lose.

Last thing I remember was a man who appear to peasant?
-Fish for more information if any about this man because if he was our rescuer. He deserves to be given a reward.

In private, talk to our father about what happened, and what is going to happen in the future.
-Try to stay in control of the conversation
-If the subject of Barick comes up and his possible punishment in failure of his duty. We should defend Barick.

Would it hurt to actually act human? You know, thank whoever's responsible for saving us, and not trying to immediately interrogate someone when we've only just awoken from a wound that was presumedly serious?

I mean, I'm fine with asking about who was after us and such, but it would be nice to at least acknowledge the concern of the people waiting for the prince to wake up. Also, I'm fully in favor of admitting that the decision to go to said rendezvous without a guard was a poor one, though I'd rather do it in private than in front of a bunch of people we don't even recognize at the moment.

Groan slightly, indicating to the observers that you've regained consciousness. Reassure people that you feel fine (or at least, as well as can be expected) and aren't in immediate danger of dying. Thank whoever it was that saved us, and ask if we can meet with them later to reward them properly. If scolded in any capacity for going to a mysterious rendezvous without any sort of guard, politely request to talk about it later. Offer belated congratulations to Barick for his performance in the various events.

They are just guidelines that Mlamlah can follow, they are not suppose to be taken as actual speech or action.

If we're going to act human than kissing our mothers hand (which holds us)
And make sure she knows we're all right.

Out of all in our room she deserves the most that were breathing.
