PTW and this is awesome. I think we should look around the area of the digging creatures, with scrying of course. And I think big bro may have been in with necromancy.

Assuming you can strain yourself that far for long, you don't know exactly where they are. You know they dwell somewhere in the wildlands, but that's vast and rough terrain. Without in the very least some pretty specific landmarks successfully finding anything specific would be next to impossible.

We might not even thouogh we're a prodigy but maybe we can ask that one warmage? Their good at scrying and live here so maybe he/she knows. But we shoudn't be like "hey my scyings no good at finding creatures can you help me?".

You'd think their'd be a "royal magician's academy" or something like in all of the animes but nooo. why is magic so taboo these days?

So, I have no idea what's going on.
But I'm pretty sure it's awesome.

I'll try to summrise for you if that's all right card.

So our older sister who we love dearly and helped us out in becoming the alpha dog in court politics was asked to make a trip far away into a militant country. We visited the Prince of that land who apparently lost his other wife and son in childbirth and after asking our sister some questions he decided to marry her. Now we'ere going to leg it back on the ASAP notice to get her prepared for the wedding and maybe send her off with a small secret private party with family only. Questions about ANYTHING ill be glad to answer or point the right direction.

So... we don't want the wedding, or we don't want to miss it? Sorry, I should probably know that, but it's too late at night for me to comprehend.

Our character {at least initially} didn't want the wedding because his beloved older sister would have to leave court which she will. However, he has accepted it and won't pull anything big for her and simply try to comfort his sister like she did with him back at home. Touching really.

Oh, so our quest is motivated by the loving and supportive relationship between us and our sibling?
That's a little refreshing, usually it's motivated by us trying to kill someone.
Or is that just me?

It's not just you. It's not even uncommon for characters in some suggestion games to assault or kill people just out of pettiness. Not that that's always a bad thing, carefree games full of mischief can be fun.

I meant as in a cursory glance of the land looking for holes or mounds.

Raynor Casar, Royal Prince of Analysse, popular claimant on the future crown.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You pull the man aside and find he's been drinking somewhat, probably some brew that the men purchased in Koringberg. You tell him that you can respect his actions, defending a man when the odds are against him, but tell him that things are very delicate right now, and that it would be better if he simply maintained his distance.
Surprisingly, he seems to genuinely take your words to heart, immediately sobering up and bowing deeply in respect. He takes his leave of you, and you've certainly earned the man's respect, it's possible that respect could even seep into the other mercenaries. You hadn't even been trying to win the man over, so it's certainly a pleasant surprise.
You hear that Sir Evansons man was put on latrine duty for the entirety of the trip, and you do not know how the Koringberg man was punished.

The journey to the border remains mostly uneventful. You have a few swordsmanship lessons from Barick, but a poor parry leaves your wrist badly mangled. You have Ritalia's handmaiden have a brief look at it, and she heals most of the damage, but tells you that you ought to avoid doing anything too strenuous with it for a couple weaks. You test it, but only feel pain when you exert the wrist. It will probably be best not to handle a sword with that hand for the time being.
Except for that time passes much the same as it did before, you spend most of your time between Barick and Ritalia, though the mercenary you spared a lecture for hangs around some, eager to give you a hand. His name is Erelast you learn, and he's one of the mercanary company's archers.

Paved Roads make way to dirt roads, which seem recently maintained, and uneasy silence is kept between your forces and the forces of your temporary protector. It seems that the response to the last incident was enough to keep everything civil, if tense, and nothing more happens between the men. You briefly toy with the idea of travelling as fast as you can, but truth be told a breakneck pace would be the hardest on you and Ritalia, especially Ritalia, who has already proven she has poor constitution for long travel.
The border is reached barely a half-day behind schedule, and you find that along the road it consists of two small outposts each manned by soldiers of either nationality. Men paid wage to silently stare at one another. On the koringberg side, an aged stone tower, and on the Analyssian side a fresh wooden fort.
Leaving behind your escort, and the country of Adalbert, you breathe a sigh of relief to be in your own country again. Soon you will be surrounded by Analyssian people speaking in Analyssian, eating Analyssian food and engaging in Analyssian politics. Analyssian. You find that the more you think the word the less meaning it begins to take, and return to the daily drudgery of travel.

Though you can't use your sword arm, Barick insists that you should at least practice your shieldwork for a time. "As long as you are surrounded by bodygaurds and soldiers, being able to defend yourself long enough for aid to come is more important than killing the man trying to kill you, understand?" is the line he uses to convince you to return to practice, and it goes well enough. You arn't improving your skills in battle as fast as you would learn a language or study a topic, but you are at least beginning to feel more confident, and you don't flinch at a strong attack as you would have only a short time ago.

Unfortunatly travel begins to go poorly as you make way over the border. These roads are well travelled, and you are occassionally held up by poor quality carts stuck in the road, or on one occasion a slow trading caravan that insisted on travelling at a leisurely pace had to be forced from the road by Sir Evanson.
The planned route is reached, but in two weeks, rather than what should have been a trip of a week and a half. Fortunatly, those roads are behind you now, and you are returned to paths less traveled.

Unfortunately, if you continue along this way you will pass by the road of your new friend Sir Raymond, whose people you recently helped save from wildman brigands. You could go see him easily enough, and it would likely only add a day to the trip. Or you could simply stick to the planned route and ensure that you get home as speedily as possible.

I say go home. We can pay a visit to Raymond another day, besides a lot of things might have happened in the capital when we were absent - best check up on them asap.
