I played a bit, completed the tutorial missions.  How does the multiplayer work exactly?  I haven't tried it yet.

You just pick a map and your parties face off. Most have these victory points in the centre so you can win without having to kill all your opponents. That's the only difference really.

The multiplayer seems to start you off at level 20 or something, which seems rather intimidating when you only have level 5 equipment.

It only affects health, and gives your party the maximum amount of slots. Simpler matchmaking? Can't wait for coop to come out.

Yeah but without GOOD equipment you will tend to lose. that is why they give you a starter pack.

Not really. I've won three games with my supposedly substandard equipment. I also don't know what starter pack you're talking about.

Are you playing ranked matches?

Heh, I just decided to buy some starter cards. It pays back better than using pizza for anything else in the game. Very well worth it since it almost guarantees you the first ranked win and early rewards.

Yeah, the MP packs are a really good deal, especially for a new player.

Are you talking about stuff you bought with pizza you got using cash? Or did you use the pizza from the tutorials?

For PVP they give you three FREE characters with great equipment.

Unless that has changed since the Beta.

Er. For PVP I've been using my campaign characters.. They get a health increase and all their equip slots unlocked, but otherwise I'm using the kit and characters I named and earned during the campaign..
