As they surveyed the room, Danath began to notice... Something watching them from the shadows.  Whenever he shined the light in it's direction however, it reappeared somewhere else.  After frantically shining the light around for a few moments, he composed himself.
"Think you can hide in the shadows, eh?  We'll see about that."  Focusing his energy on the runestone, he channelled enough into it to light the entire room temporarily, to try and locate the mysterious presence, and making sure not to look directly at the stone while he does this.

Uh oh... When a creature likes the dark, and something disturbs the dark, then it will try to destroy it... and whatever caused it... e.e Prepare for one-two funerals!

((I'm hoping that it's the sort of creature that hates the light in such a way in that it causes it some discomfort, as the shock of being in the light may give us enough chance to run.  Also if it hates the light, then the normal runestone light may offer some protection.  However, if it just likes the shadows to hide itself in, then at least we will be able to get an idea of our foe.))

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

((Or you could give it to someone willing to GM it meanwhile, it all depends on if you used this as a a creative project to express yourself, or just to play))
