Innkeeper (Back in business!)

Innkeeper
You are a new innkeeper, having the family inn given to you after your dear father had passed and you have become of age. Your inn is in the Hamlet of Origins, or Hoo, in the continent of Aegeron [Ee-ger-on], a land polluted with black magic and foul monsters. Humanity in the region seemed doomed, until an event known as the Dawn caused average humans from other continents to magically appear in Aegeron and gain superhuman abilities. They are known as Heroes.

Inns are created to help Heroes, give them information on Bosses, buy and sell loot, give them advice and directions, and to provide food and lodging. Your inn is located in the Hamlet of Origins, and your inn is their first stop from the Forest of Beginnings. Your job is to nudge them along, supply and arm, and motivate them to defeat the first Boss. You must give them Quests, and reward them accordingly. To gain the funds to create rewards, general NPC customers appear daily. They buy food and drink, and pay you in GP.

Name: [Name]
Age: [16-20]
Gender: [M/F]

Inn Name: [Ye Olde *insert generic name*]
Inn-signia: [Geddit? Anyways, the sign that represents your inn, family, and town.]

Life Choices:

What did you often do as a child?

A. Adventure [You know more about the caves and lairs of monsters. You know how to defeat them, and what their weaknesses are.]
B. Socialite [You know how to smooth talk even the most anti-social people. You find it easier to make friends and Heroes will feel more motivated to do your quests.]
C. Friendly [You made a lot of childhood friends. Most of the townsfolk and shopkeepers will grant you discounts.]

What does your inn specialize in?

A. Buff Food [Your food grant greater buffs than normal. They last twice as long, and you start with a Garden and a Pen.]
B. Weaponry [You can sell loot weapons at greater than normal price, and the Heroes won't mind. You also start with a Forge.]
C. Information [Heroes and NPC's will give you more information, and they will be more accurate. One of your workers starts as a Scout.]

Who is your best friend?

A. The Captain of the Guard [You can request him to send troops to clear out a certain Lair so you can get the loot for yourself.]
B. The Merchant [He occasionally gives you items that aren't displayed in his stall for a cheaper price.]
C. The Sorceress [She can give your inn temporary buffs at a cheaper price. She can also identify scrolls and enchanted gear.]

What is your preferred Hero Class? [Note: these are just the starting classes. Later on, more advanced classes appear.]

A. Warrior
B. Ranger
C. Rogue
D. Cleric
E. Magician
F. Paladin

This sounds a lot like that hero-guild-thingy that well.. was stopped for some reason or another. Which idea I really liked. Well then, let us get this started, shall we?

War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

[[Meh. I'll use a dice roll. Going with Terra.]] [[Edit: Whoops, Ninja'd. Sorry guys, already wrote the turn for Terra. If you want, I can sneak in cameos of you guys as Heroes.]]

Terra-ific Innkeeper

You are Terra, son of Uranus and Gaia. You run Ye Tree Meld, along with your 5 siblings who work for you. Minerva, Artemis, Ulysses, Hercules, and Alexander. Today is your first day as innkeeper, and your excited mood causes you to rush all over the inn, both upstairs and downstairs preparing nonstop. You've still got a while before many of the NPC's wake up, so you might as well get the drinks ready and assign roles for the day.

Roles unassigned:

Chef
Waiter
Waiter
Informant
Shopkeeper

Your siblings work more or less for free, since you all share the money. They have no relevant skills that you know of, since you left as a young lad and only returned recently after Father passed. Artemis is a scout, and she is able to go to one Lair to find out about the monsters and bosses inside. You can sell bits and pieces of info to adventurers, for various prices.

There is also the matter of the menu:

-Stale Bread
[x1 Bread; +2 HP; $???]
-Lukewarm Ale
[x1 Ale; +1 Str/2 Turns; $???]
-Half-baked Mashed Potato
[x1 Potato; +1 Dex/2 Turns; $???]
-Cold Soup
[x1 Water; x1 Potato; x1 Carrot; +1 Vit, +1 Int/2 Turns; $???]

You can request your chef to create new recipes. The Farm will send you 10 Base Food and 10 Ale each day for free; you can also request for different ingredients the next day. You can also set the price of the dish accordingly.

Currently, Artemis can go to either the Dark Cave or the Swamp. She will arrive the next day.

[[Sorry guys. You'll have to forgive me. The updates'll have to be done on my phone, so forgive my bad formatting/spelling.]]

Terra-ific Innkeeper

You begin to assign the roles to your siblings. You tell Hercules to man the kitchen, and he starts to prepare the heat crystals under the stove. The red gemstones glow and heat emanates from the kitchen. You tell Minerva and Artemis to wait the customers, and you send out Artemis to the Swamp.

You tell Alexander to be the informant, and he starts reading up on the daily paper. Ulysses begins to man the shop, preparing the weapons. You nod as things fall in place, and soon the day starts. You have your first customer, an NPC, who orders Stale Bread.

Ulysses begins baking the bread, which turns out better than expected, and the man beams as he sinks his teeth into it. Afterwards, he pays you $1, and he tells ypu a bit of info on the Deep Woods.

The common monster there is the slime. Weak monsters with low attack damage, they serve as an important source of magical fuel and building material. Rumors say that there is a Troll that's found it's way into the Woods.

More customers come, and you make $3 from Stale Bread. A Hero steps into the tavern, clad in bronze armor and wielding a short copper sword. She walks towards the counter and orders Lukewarm Ale. She throws in an extra $4 and asks:

"Um, hi. I'm Lae. I was told by some guy called the Guide to kill some rats and make my way to this inn. Would you mind telling me where to go next?

You can now give off information. A little hint or a full blown guide, they can make or break a hero. You can tell Lae about the Swamp, the Deep Woods, or the Cave. You can also give her a quest; for example to gather 5 Slime Balls for $10. You will know what loot monsters drop through scouting or Heroes telling you. Lairs regenerate monsters and loot per day.

"The Deep Woods has started to get infested with slimes recently, if you could cull the population a little, that'd be great. If you bring me say, 5 slime balls, I'll make it worth your while. Also, I heard a Troll might have taken up residence in there, if you get any more inofrmation on it, I'd love to hear it."
