Orichalcum Warhammer, Any Good?
« on: September 07, 2013, 01:56:39 pm »

I've never messed with orichalcum before, so I have no idea about any of its properties other than that it's crucial for some magickythings and it's really freaking hard to get without smelting an entire layer. So when my weaponsmith decides to use one of my 2 bars to make a weaponized memorial to a fort I had to abandon earlier (Because zombie-dragons) I'm left with a weapon that I'm not sure of how to use properly. So is it any good?

10.500. I guess it's high compared to mundane metals.

If I am recalling right, orich is pretty damn heavy and good for blunt weaponry, especially as an artifact. Further, I believe warhammers are the 'best' of the blunt type of weapons (correct me if wrong) - so it should be quite a nasty piece of weaponry in the right hands!

Orichalcum is nearly the same density as silver is and it holds a max sharpness twice as sharp has the Vanilla non candy metals so it's a decent metal regardless of the weapon type.

i think it'll be a fine weapon
