I found a note in the pocket of a corpse in a mausoleum that reads "I regret everything".
Ouch.

I'm wondering what the string of binary, when you open a file, is?
Is it just ASCII code or, perhaps a small picture? or just gibberish?

I've tried, it's just nothing.

I found something called 'visitor planet'. It's basically an inhabited planet, except inhabited by aliens. Their thoughts and memories are variations on 'ACK' mostly.

Ok honestly this is really bugging me and probably the largest weakness of the game.

What is foreign, what is alien, what is strange... From YOUR perspective?

Game Idea Generator:

An FPS where you motivate the CIA for liberty.

;_; I want a remake of Covert Action ;_;

Exists... it is very boring and probably no longer exists.

Definitely exists. In fact there are multiple of these.

That looked like a nod to "Mars Attacks!" to me. At least I read the ACK in the Martian's voice.

Too bad it would pretty much end up like the Syndicate reboot :(

Random funny things I've found.

Pitta
"hey have you heard"
"i'm pretty fly"

Ram
"This is not good."
"Don't turn around."
"Don't turn around."

Turtle
"brbrbrbrbrbrbrbr"

Lobster
"gotta skitter"
"gotta skitter"

Given that the meat of the action part of the game is the early Nineties equivalent of a FPS, unlike Syndicate's more tactical gameplay, that actually could work, as long as both the action and strategy parts of the game were preserved. If the devs figured out how to make the levels randomly generate decently, and make the default speed quite low, that could work.

Hell, the game doesn't really need modernification that much, if you'd upgrade the graphics to not be eyebleedingly retro, create modern-day controls and UI, you can preserve the bird's eye gameplay during the fight and driving minigames. Driving could feel like old GTAs, Electronics and Cryptography can be pretty much untouched except for graphics/UI upgrade, and the old classic is back.

Honestly, if I have to spend a couple of minutes to decide whether to play Saints Row IV, which is absurdly fun, or a semi-obscure 1990 game, that means that it's really, really good despite the antiquated graphics.

A war game where you nuke dungeons with nuclear warfare.

Redundancy ahoy!
