According to some, it's been in development for 16 billion years. And if you thought that it took Valve a long time to push the EP3 out...

And it's still being updated, as far as it seems.
But it takes forever to see any noticeable changes, though.
And there are no changelogs whatsoever.

It's fun, but painstakingly slow at times.
I mean, it takes you a full year to level up, and you need to be 18 to even finish the tutorial part (and even that's supposedly different between servers, but I'm not sure).

Also, the meta in this game is shifting rapidly. It currently heavily favors long-ranged combat. You don't see anyone specializing in melee anymore beyond a very few people.
If they even decide to choose combat in the first place.

There's no payment system, but random number generator can be either a curse or a blessing at times.
I mean, there was this dude called Jesus Christ some 2000 years ago, and he's considered to be part of the development team, but you have people that deny that.

The graphics are top-shelf, the physics are very complex (you have tons of very in-depth tutorials about them), and it's generally fun for the most part.
If you have the patience, I strongly recommend it.

Pff. Heard the game was terrible. Reviews said stuff about it being ruined with the new update 'The Internet' or something like that.

Kinda sucks that you can pick up the Drive skillset at 16 but can't finish the tree with Rent Car until you're 25.

Also, HP regeneration is painfully slow, there's no respawn timer (depending on your religion, at least...) horse hooves don't sound right, and not only do you need insane stats to take the Politician career path, but it's massively broken at high levels.

Personally prefer that sidegame though. I think it was 'Dwarf Fortress' or something. Yeah.

Really fun, but it needs a lot of bugfixing.

For balance reasons, high-level players are at greater risk of getting the Cancer debuff.

The most fun stuff was only happening in the very early days, in the pre-IV century era.
Although I must say, reading the logs from the XIX and XX updates was fun.

Currently the game is rather bland, all things told. I mean, there's something happening in the Middle Eastern server, but the best that happens over here is that I started a new school long-term questline.

And f*ck Mayan players supposedly anticipating the shutdown of servers. This happens so many times in the past. If the devs decide to close the servers, we should expect a meteorite or something.

I heard about this secret area, called the moon and seen pictures and heard from some players who been there, but then I hear rumors that it just an April fools and now there a newer place called Mars, but the method to get there is supposedly eight years long.

Actually, the entire game universe (hah) is filled with those, and there might even be an easter egg in the form of other lifeforms, but devs like to toy with the players.

Re: the meta game with stats. You have to predict where the meta is going to go about 18 years in advance, if you get it right you do really well. But even then the mods come along and nerf it after a while. If you get it wrong your stuck with a load competition for a really hard to use skill-set.
