[AUTOSUCCESS] Stefan Brzęczyszczykiewicz continues his work in Bystra, setting up revolutionary committees headed by important LDW members. +1 Control in Bystra (14).

[2] [6] Ahead of the advancing peacekeepers, Henner Campfeld meets with several important people in Płazów and gains their support for his organization. -1 Control in Płazów (25).

[1] With Konstantyn commanding the brave patriots in Recz, Heinral Lowkow heads into Zagan. Unfortunately the guards are alert and he fails to make it into the province.

[10] Clair Glass somehow manages to avoid the police network in Bytow and set up several Lód cells in the city. -1 Control in Bytow.

4,000 Rostovian troops attempt to march to Wolbrom, but are halted in Bystra due to the brave Witkovian patriots in the city. Not enough movement to move from Pyrzyce to Wolbrom.

Swollen with much needed reinforcements, 1,833 WLF troops march out from the siege of Glogow to confront 2,495 Rostovian soldiers. (2,495*1.33 vs. 1,833*2) Under the direction of Leopold Kaminsky the holy relics of the Cathedral are removed from their hiding places and shown to the troops. Embolden by their faith and patriotic duty, the partisans of the WLF route the Rostovians after a long and bloody battle. The WLF loses 165 soldiers, the Rostovians 873.

The First Rostovian Infantry Division marches into Recz in an attempt to stamp out the revolution once and for all. Opposing them are 7417 Witkovian patriots led by Konstantyn Wojewodzki-Araya of the New Monarchist Guard. (12,400*1 vs. 7417*2.33) While the number of combatants is small, the fighting is fierce and veterans of the revolution will remember it for the rest of their lives. Despite their smaller numbers the Witkovians manage to ambush and surround the Rostovians, and after several hours finally rout them. The Rostovians lose 4340 men, while the Witkovians lose 585.

An Witkovian Interim government was formed in Recz, but was quickly disbanded when it became apparent that it lacked the authority to organize the liberated provinces.

History: The ideas of communism are still fairly new to Witkovia, but oppression breeds reactionary responses, and interest in the party's ideology has been growing steadily over the last 10 to 20 years. Once seen as a fringe element composed of questionable individuals is more and more being taken seriously as a group who are willing to help the lower class cast off their shackles from the Rostov masters.
Political Position: Staunchly on the left side of the political spectrum, Knavikov and the FPP look to create an equal Witkovia for all the people. Popular with the lower classes for their stances on land reform and worker's rights. Many middle and upper class citizens dismiss their ideology as nothing but 'populist daydreams'. The FPP see themselves as a vanguard that will help educate and free the masses of Witkovia through a revolution.
