If I have dualwield as my skill instead of daunt, do I start with two swords?

I notice hit chance is separate from hit skill. What does hit skill actually do?

For my personal skill, would it be possible to reduce the hit penalty instead (say by 5%/10%)?

No you won't. You'll have to get another one. I'm not sure where you're referring to with the hit skill.

I was talking about your personal skill Personal Skill: A Noble Weapon: +10 crit chance with swords. Just to make sure we're on the same page. What penalty are you referring to?

Hit Rate: Weapon Hit + (SKL x 2) + (LUK / 2) - Enemy's EVA
Attack Skill: SPD - (Weapon's Weight - [CON + Proficiency Bonus]). Negative values => 0
Critical Rate: SKL/2 + Weapon Critical Rate

What does attack skill actually do? It doesn't effect hit chance or critical rate.

Dualwield gives a 20% hit penalty for dual wielding. I was asking if I could take a skill that reduces that by 5/10% or so instead of A Noble Weapon.

Attack Skill is used in calculating Evasion, and if your AS exceeds an enemies AS by 4 you double attack them, or vise versa.

Oh perhaps, but it would need to have some sort of condition attached it.

There's a lot wrong with the sheet, but that can be fixed easily enough. For starters, you get 2 Personal Skills, and their effects should be stated clearly. Second, you only get swords as a flier. Third, you forgot to put your preffered stats. Everything else looks alright, though I think he should get a last name of some sort.

How are preferred skills different than the % gains per level option?
They're there if you don't roll any stats. So if say, you chose Strength and Speed, then if you only rolled HP, then you'd get Strength for free, and if you didn't roll anything, you'd get both Strength and Speed.
