The entire idle game is based on the "Time" XKCD comic. Every 30 minutes (later every hour), the picture changes to another one, just as in the original comic. Right now, in mine, the girl is building the castle larger.

Yes, you may ask.

The SandCastle Builder game uses the frames from the XKCD comic "Time", and was written by one of the more ... "intense" fans of the comic.  It is a slow-starting game, but it becomes far more complex than Cookie Clicker.  See http://xkcd-time.wikia.com/wiki/Sandcastle_Builder for more information about the game.

That was a cool comic. I only heard about it after it was done, though. It was neat reading it.

Yeah, it's a great mystery that doesn't answer at all in the comic but can be figured out anyway. It's pretty great.

I have been lurking for some months, but finally had something worth posting.  A couple other idle games worth a peek are http://godvillegame.com/ (Text based, very punny humor) and the ancient classic http://www.progressquest.com/ (which is *totally* idle).  SandCastle Builder is by far my favorite though.

I just got back from leaving Cookie Clicker overnight. Before popping the Wrinklers, I had 3 quadrillion. After, I had 15 quadrillion.

It's 10% if you have a single wrinkler. If you have 10 wrinklers it's effectively 600% of your cps because of the way the code works (the bonus cookies from one wrinkler are given to every wrinkler or somesuch).

That might be a bug that might end up getting fixed at some point, or it might be working as intended.

So if you're going to idle, it's best not to pop them at all till you're done idling because they get much better with each new wrinkler chomping away.
