Amethadefíni - Dwarf Fortress mod for Crusader Kings II
« on: August 31, 2013, 08:33:41 am »

So, I've been working on this and would like some help, most of the things used are exported directly from DF, but now the knucklework begins.

I need religions, events, characters and even some help with getting the rivers into the game. Province, Duchy and Kingdom names for the places not covered by the worlds history, in general just feedback and work where any can help :) I'll update this post as I/we come further with more information and more screenshots.

How are you getting that idea? The whole map is different.

I mean that Random Generation is basically the gist of Dwarf Fortress. Be it names or maps.

Still, if this mod allows me to invade the nation of Goresyrup, I think I might check it out.

You can just rename stuff in CK2, really.

What are we looking at?

It's a Dwarf Fortress world turned into a Crusader Kings 2 mod.

Oh hey, this.  I missed the thread because I mainly browse the forums through the show new replies button.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

I would think a dwarf fortress mod would focus primarily on province improvements.  Mining, magma, traps, etc.

Perhaps also feature an event sequence that replicates strange moods.  Something that gives the character a greatly improved stat, if it doesn't kill the character.

I'm still here, with a bit further progress, but I'll have to admit I lost a bit of interest as I don't really want to work on it by myself, far too much work.

If anyone wants to help put together interesting placed on the map like Kingdoms and so forth and have some of excel / calc and CK2 I think I can set you up on Skype to help me in a direct way to finish the map.

2-3 guys and it could be done incredibly fast.

One mistake I did looking back is that there's a bit too many provinces whole map over, but removing them now would mean a lot of tiresome extra work for me now

Anyway, unless I get a few people to help, I probably won't ever finish this.

Edit: Forgot to add the skype; hrafnirhamarr

As I said through PM, I am willing to help (and am actually doing so by converting vanilla events, having even sent you one event file). Files are big, though.

This sounds amazing. I can't really offer my skills, though. Just my appreciation and good wishes.
