I love how only eight people are attending the show though. We might actually have more wrestlers in attendance than people watching the show. ^,^
Yeah, I noticed that... eight people. That must be pretty depressing to act in front of.

Maybe we photoshop more people into the audience for the online streams.
Nah. The online streams wouldn't show the audience. I mean, who wants to see those chumps?
I'm certain the eight audience members are entirely made up of those wrestlers not performing that night...

It does come out even...  As for internet people, it does create a generally more positive atmosphere to have an audience in the background.

So, how do we get more audience members? Can we advertise? Do we drag our friends and families to the shows? Can we start kidnapping people?

Well... the company is local size, I think the bottom of local sizes...  You just have to simply gain popularity to be able to get a larger audience.  Which means more shows needed.
That also means more costs.  Being a local size company means you get piddly in sponsorship money.  That is the only real source of income at this stage, since you ain't gonna get much from ticket sales at this point.  The same pretty much applies to the next size too.

I do find it a bit ridiculous that only 8 people attend. That just isn't economically viable, unless we're getting views of ~200+ on TV.

... We are on TV, right?

Nope.  Of course it is not economically viable.

As I said, the only meaningful source of income is sponsorship, which is like some random local businesses giving you money for advertisement and local contribution...
The company is basically a bunch of random nobodies wrestling in a garage and inviting the neighbors over while tape recording the whole thing for youtube.

I doubt you'd get paid much for that minimal kind of exposure, though. :(

When I said 'on TV' I mean one of those incredibly cheap TV channels that probably has a prime viewership of 1,000 or so people at 5pm friday.

Youtube is all he has for now.
And you get paid by sponsorship enough to survive/jump to the next size level if you don't overreach. $9,900 in sponsorship per month right now.

As for signing a deal with a tv channel... any kind... well, the smallest ones from the default game really only deal with you when you become regional/cult size.
Though... you can create smaller tv channels/networks that will deal with small companies I believe.

We need to create something like "Public Access TV," that deals with tiny promotions and such. One of my local public access channels used to show backyard 'rasslin tapes at 1am.

Did you star in any of those? It's strange to be able to ask that question seriously, but...

No, I did not. A couple of friends consistently tried to rope me into it, but I was already injured from MMA by that point.

Yeah sorry about updates, I'm gonna move updates to the end of the week instead of the beginning, because all of my college stuff is crammed at the start of the week this semester.

Updates are now Friday Saturday.

Yeah things are off to a rough start with college. They buried me in a lot of work this week. Probably update next week, although I'll try to get an update before then, depends on what they bury me in on Monday.

Do yourselves a favor, if Microeconomics is the only option for your economics credit that semester, decide to wait for next semester. Trust me.
