To make a good use of Psysquid's ability we should spend 2 turns upgrading afterwards. That way we will be able to unleash hell whenever we feel like. (Two turns upgrading= two turns of unit production without loses).

So, in those upgrades, what should we do? (Yes, I like planning foward)

I say:
1) Training grounds.
2) Attach sound emitting device to zeppellin to make it a nice destruction weapon.
3) If the volcano is useful for energy, make more cog-making facilities.

“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.

Training grounds would be nice, then a volcano generator.. then something to do with the generator, like a Cog Factory or Evil Supercollider or something.

Mission Weapon: Could do both if we felt like taking a large risk.
Thanks for the list btw.

Mission: volcano.

Team: Gamington-Snowstar-Gorloceros-Elephant Wraith-Figurehead-1 assault cog - 4 guardogs - and as much cogs as we can cram inside the submarine.

Um. Those troops will be less than useless in the water. We need to send Psysquid with Snowstar and any mooks who aren't cogs. Cogs are metal. Metal rusts and will sink in the water.

Sadly, all our other troops need to breathe.

Cogs are still the most waterproof of all of them, as sinking is an useful ability for something that can't swim(walk on the seafloor) and rust is a slow oxidizing reaction. It's greatly slowed when taking place under water.

Besides, if they were prone to rust we'd certainly have had casualties because of it, because our base is floating in the middle of the sea. Cogs would be exposed to plenty of salt water, air and other adverse conditions near constantly.

Alright, but don't say I didn't warn you...

But we REALLY should send Psysquid instead of Lord Gamington. LG's style of combat requires open space and open air. Less than useless in a submarine.

Guess I might as well put up a suggestion for both even if it clearly lost:
Mission 3: Gammington, Cogulaha/Spilter-Cog, Machine Cog, 3/5 Standard Cogs, 2 Snailmen, 2 Guardcogs.
Mission 1: Pysquid, Snowkid, Luxury Succubus, 4/2 Standard Cogs, Figurehead.

Wuffle Cogs assigned to one of them, wasn't sure how useful flight would be underwater.
Edit: Recommend getting more water breathing allies for the future.

I'm pretty sure the figurehead is made of wood, and doesn't breathe. It does float though.

It is a figurehead... Attach it to the front of the submarine perhaps?

She was having issues when we summoned her didn't she? Figure that means she needs to breath.
Edit: But fair enough, she will float so we need her for Mission 1 editing.
