Aurora moves further away, positioning herself next to the southern exit. She then waits, to see if the strange liquid covering here will finish the healing process.

That was... odd.  Hm.

Pick up the dagger and try a spell.

Check the chainmail's characteristics (like, if it is weaker, sturdier or anything)

Poke a tentacle with the flat of the dagger.  Hold it and say Words.

Leave though the door I did not come from.
Focus on contamination removal.
And grab a slice of cake.

Aurora looks at the strange liquid, and says words.

Leave the grass spear, try some new words.

I think I'm a spear master now, that's all I can do properly.

Aurora looks at the liquid and say her words!
[Pot: 3 +3]
[Aware: 5] She fires a pair of heatbeams straight at the liquid. Unfortunately for you all, that's several gallons of liquid high explosive. It explodes with enough force to destroy the room Aurora's in, all adjacent rooms, and to bring down the ceiling, collapsing Tomcosts room and much of the rest of the arena. You are all very dead.

At this point, I would like to take some time to review and get your opinions before I reboot. I'm going to add that leveling system I talked about, and probably change some other stuff. What do you all think I should add/take away? I'm thinking I'll randomize the words again, but this time give you more starting clues for the magic; probably giving you like four words for free or something like that. I'm also considering the pro's and con's for starting you all out in one room versus separate ones. If I start you in one room, there'll probably be an immediate bloodbath, bot on the other hand, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Also, is there anything you think I should do with the arena? more death traps, less rooms, etc? Should I add in some NPC's for you to fight? etc.

So... did that word I was about to try mean wood or breastplate?

Also, what was the trap in my book?

But I really liked this game, I like the way that not having a complete spell would add random words, rather than resulting in an incomplete spell.
But I think there should be less rooms.
