A monster the size of a house is thrown at the dimensional disturbance. If someone would look in the direction it came from they would see an old janitor mapping up the area.

The monster doesn't seem to be able to even crack the structure, despite its best efforts.

Gerard meanders outside of the school to watch the show

Sure thing Will, I'll go in front, but which way?

Will leads Stella to a window on the right side of the school and points at the green Colosseum thing.

"Before we go, let's see if we can find anyone else willing to go along as well."

Will begins to search for volunteers.

Gerard observes the Construct, leaning on a wall by the front door

good idea will, I admit I was a little nervous going out there with just you and me

Gerard rifles through his backpack and pulls out headphones.
"Dive off a cliff, jump from a plane,
Oh, it's not easy other than what I've got to say,
Go for a swim, with sharks in the sea,
oh, it's not easy other than me telling it to your face."

Izzy tags along.
"A-are you sure i-it's a g-good idea t-to go there?"

"Not really. But, this is a school for people with superpowers! We could handle whatever might be there, if we team up. "
He shrugs.
"Also, you know, what else would we do? Sit around playing truth or dare until this whole scenario ends, which could be weeks for all we know."

Izzy nods shakily.
The Colosseum has finished forming. It is no longer glowing.

Gerard nervously approaches the coliseum

Izzy tags along.
"A-are you sure i-it's a g-good idea t-to go there?"

Will shrugs. A downside of his power: He really doesn't like not knowing something. It's a void, with oppressive pressure, always there.
"It's certainly not the worst thing we could do. Besides, it's not like things will be better if we stay here. Whatever's on the other side will leak over here sooner or later."

The Colosseum has finished forming. It is no longer glowing.

Will leads the group following him (which includes at least Stella and Izzy, probably Pollux, Lucas, and Gerard, and possibly others) to the Colosseum. He examines it, using his senses and his power to take in all he can tell about the structure.
"...Shall we enter?"
