A solitary server sigil rendered itself onto the air, phantasmal luminescence pouring from its shifting form. For the briefest instant, it held a silent vigil above scarred land that lay beneath. Soon, it was joined by another, and another, the air around it erupting in a phantasmagoria of scintillating runes. Minute regions of diffracted light, each no larger than a tennis ball, manifest and implode upon the artificial constellation, dragging each magic circle with them to the eldritch realm from whence they came. In turn, an invisible solstice ignited from beyond the veil, resulting in a spherical distortion conclusively expanding from the epicenter. From within its pellucid form, something shifted, twisting the construct into a vaguely humanoid form, angular protrusions pervading its structure and shifting it into a mockery of a streamlined set of armor.

It begins its maneuvers, a standard attack sequence in which rapidly advances, ducking behind cover and quickly flanking whilst feigning various other directions with intent to close in quickly whilst minimizing opportunities for its target to strike. However, as it advances, its movements begin to gain a distinct animalistic quality. It begins forsaking cover, half lunging, half flowing towards its prey, tendrils begin to tear themselves out from its body, stabbing at its targets with a predatory frenzy, barrages of spells intertwining with each strike. Not that it was required. Against a regular person, a single strike would deliver the payload of offensive systems that drove it, ripping into their flesh and expanding, frying neurons and scattering molecules.

Soon, all the remaining combatants were no more. Shredded apart by systems and magic alike.

There was one where Lyle exploded a reproduction tract with sudden horse sex, but that was the most gruesome, and it wasn't that big a deal.
