The dust, blown by GM fiat bad ice winds, roil away to reveal...
Oh gods.
Bodies are everywhere, all with the most horrendous expressions on their faces. They lie in unusual positions - one on its head, one has no arms, only bloody stumps, all are different but the same for virtue of the screams on their dead faces.
Buildings have been torn down to sand and scattered all over the place, leaving no structure intact. Near the back of the district, two figures can be seen - one is holding the other up by the throat. It appears to be yelling, and even at your distance you can hear the echoes ...'where is it?'

[Aklyon]

"Oh fuck."
Vix mutters something about properly burying things and jumps down to collect his alchemy equipment into his bag, and alert anyone still nearby.

Good luck with burying those bodies, Vix, you're going to be there a while.

Diana sees a tall man with ink-black hair holding another man up by the throat. He's unnaturally tall but maintains the proportions of a normal man, rendering him unnaturally thin and skeletal. Despite this, his voice is loud as he shakes the struggling merchant around as one would a doll.
I SAID WHERE is it, you dolt?! I know your city hid the fragment of it somewhere here, but where, WHERE?!
No answer is given, the fat man strangely defiant, and the tall man sighs in disgust as he squeezes the man's throat shut. He suddenly takes notice of Diana, turning to her, exposing where his naughty bits would normally be - he wears no clothes - but instead only more leathery skin.
Ah, a one that was promised. What form do you take, chosen?
His eyes are pitch black and staring.

((It was more about the 'bury the inactive pyramid with land so we know its out of the way instead of letting it fly off', not the dead people.))

Having gotten no responce, Vix starts to walk over toward the mess, the Cryswarm following close behind.

The pyramid ruin gets covered by a large mountain of dirt for some reason.
