Before everyone's eyes, Marie seemed to...well, dissolve, into some kind of green translucent 'flesh' in a generic humanoid shape. Almost sludgelike, in fact. Also, completely devoid of internal structure, aside from the six eyes and hungry mouth that make up the rather disgusting face.

Then she shrieks, as a host of wires and cables appear inside her body. Her arms stretch out enough to be more like tentacles, and a framework of metal struts and half-finished plating appears over her body, giving her at least some protection. A heavy, blank metal mask bolts itself to her face, not that it makes her much less ugly.

A backpack-sized device with a conspicuous crystal on top appears affixed to her back. Whatever it is, it doesn't seem to hinder her from writhing in pain as the last pieces connect, attach, appear, and otherwise finish her transformation sequence.

Eric then begins to drink heavily.

"Not really, he mostly mentioned that guy getting possessed by a sword and acting all loony."

He drinks out of a bottle with a label with an X on it.

Kyle stumbles up to the stage and after a few minutes fumbling with the controls of the karaoke machine sets it to an... Eminem? It seems to be The Real Slim Shady. And as it turns out he's still rather good at it.

"You sure you want to do that? Getting drunk and into a fight with say, Miss Stabby over there is probably a bad idea."

Robo!Marie taps Eric's shoulder and points over to Thorndancer. Despite the cold metal faceplate, one gets a sense she's smirking.

More drinking and then

"You sure you want to do that? Getting drunk and into a fight with say, Miss Stabby over there is probably a bad idea."

Robo!Marie taps Eric's shoulder and points over to Thorndancer. Despite the cold metal faceplate, one gets a sense she's smirking.

Eric, slightly tipsy now, leans over towards Marie.
"Imma let you in on a little secret."
He leans in really close.
"I don't need to be sober when I fight."
He laughs a bit.

"I assume you mean the human prince? Deathwing coming back was the next great calamity the world had to deal with."

He snorts.

"And all the while, we were all busy killing each other."

[Twi]

"Yeah, well, I'mma let you in on one too."

Marie leans in and takes off her faceplate. Then lets out a bestial roar at Eric, much to the alarm of pretty much everyone! At least three weapons are drawn before they realize it's just Marie being trolly. Oh, by the way, Thorndancer has a sword with eyes and teeth. And it's clearly alive.

"Hsssssssssss Floran not like!"
"Woah, that scared me!"
"Don't DO that, idiot!"

Thoroughly chastised but totally unfazed, Marie puts her faceplate back on.

"As I was saying, getting into a fight with Miss Stabby over there is probably a bad idea. Sober or otherwise."
