So we need to do four POSSIBLE embarks, one in each cardinal direction from the site of Fliermanors - once we see the four new possible sites, the group should vote on which one(s) are the ACTUAL embark.

I disagree. Preferably with more zombies. For what is Dwarf Fortress if not a series of small, terrible acts leading up to large, even more terrible acts. That is where its fun is derived from. If you deprive us of even one of those acts, you could cause an unprecedented collapse of the Fun pyramid. If this happens, the dwarves could actually become happy. And we all don't want that to happen.
