Fair enough. I'm still thinking of having Leo give up priesthood (at the very least in the epilogue), though, on the basis that he doesn't believe in the dragon, the church is clearly endlessly corrupt, he can help people whether or not he's a priest, his elevation to sainthood is just a ploy by the rebellion, and the church/empire/rebellion are not things he wants to be associated with anymore. Plus he's under the assumption Sheila doesn't like the fact he's bound by so many rules and would probably want him to join her on the seas when all is said and done.

That would certainly be a solution, and one that Sheila wouldn't take an issue with. He could just as easily change to a new religion, if there was something relevant he believed in, of course. Or even if he stayed a priest of the dragon cult, Sheila would be fine as long as they got married and she was allowed to touch the butt basically whenever.
