"...What do you mean by that?" It looks somewhat annoyed with ICARUS' apparent insult, but hugs the two cat people.

"That slime-bodies are usualy full of enzymes to dissolve what you touch, could lead to stains."

"I control that perfectly. I would never dissolve something or someone that I shouldn't!"

Ashley holds onto the man's arm, and teleports near the small building, but not directly next to it.

The officer closes his eyes after they teleport, /"You c-could have warned me."/

The building looks rather run-down and abandoned from the outside, with overgrown weeds in its yard and its bricks covered in ivy and dead plant life. The door to the building and all of the windows seem to be gone as well, likely stolen for scrap or something. Whatever purpose the building once served has long been obliterated, and now it's nothing more than a ruin on the edge of town. However this ruined shack is the ideal place to teleport to. Its neighbours are all far apart from one another, and its thick brick walls and small windows would help to keep prying eyes away from whatever happens inside.

Ashley draws her katana, her plate armor forming plate-by-plate.
/"Let's investigate, shall we?"/
She approaches the entrance to the building quietly, peeking through the door before going inside.

The slime girl looks pretty offended.

/"Let's investigate, shall we?"/
She approaches the entrance to the building quietly, peeking through the door before going inside.

The officer nods and pulls out his dinky handgun, and follows Ashley as quietly as he can.

The inside of the building is pretty empty, all of the usable objects long looted, leaving behind only rubble, assorted debris and junk. The ashes of several fires and broken bottles indicate that the local homeless population often frequent this place, but none of them seem to be here now. The building is divided into three rooms, a larger one with two side-rooms connected to it. The larger of the two rooms has nothing in it, but one of the side-rooms does. In it, shielded from view from anyone outside, someone has laboriously cleared out a large space to inscribe several magical circles onto the ground. Ashley can tell at a glance that they're teleportation circles, though where exactly they go will warrant further investigation.

Besides the room with the magic circles nothing seems to have been disturbed or out of place, and the man puts his gun away, feeling rather silly.
