HILDA starts to scan the bodies for anything of note.
Alucard takes out his pistol and goes to the unconscious Russian, doing as Ashley says and shooting him in the side of the head. Bartimaeus flies over onto Ashley's shoulder.
 "Find anything?"

[Akroma]

<A digsite related to Rose, presumably.>

"They were hired by a man named Spartak Sokolov. Apparently they're anti-magic resistance of a sort."

[PrivateNomad]

 "Is that anti-magic, or anti-void?"
Alucard continues to kill off the Russians.
<What does it have to do with Rose?>

[Projeck37]

"Well, not anti-magic like the field we have at the base. As in, they want magic users out of Russia."

[PrivateNomad]

 "So it's the usual magic user genocide thing we deal with all the time, right?"

[Akroma]

<We are here to find out.>

[Projeck37]

"Little more serious, but yeah."
Annabelle sneezes at the mention of magic user genocide.

[PrivateNomad]

 <Very well. Have you found anything?>
"They're dead." Alucard says, unfazed by taking a few lives.

[Akroma]

<Scan in progress.>

"Good.."
Ashley looks a bit pale.

[USEC_OFFICER]

HILDA flies in the scene.
 "My apologies, I was occupied."
HILDA's arm shifts into a scanning device which she scans the bodies with to detect any anomalies.

Everything is... Well, HILDA doesn't pick up anything unexpected on her sensors, but she does detect unusually high concentrations of magic in the area, centered in the very middle of the digsite. Whatever caused these readings must have been destroyed by the terrorists, for HILDA picks up nothing specific on her scanners.

ICARUS sighs, and first does a rough scan of the ground below. Anything that still remains buried that deserves attention?

ICARUS doesn't pick up anything that HILDA can't detect. Which is to say she sees nothing that could be considered unusual.

Speaking of which, she gets the other ones down on the street, next to the one she was just talking to.

Alucard takes out his pistol and goes to the unconscious Russian, doing as Ashley says and shooting him in the side of the head. Bartimaeus flies over onto Ashley's shoulder.
 "Find anything?"

Ashley... Goes to the other unconscious gunman. Unless she wants Alucard to execute them all, in which case he does so. Either way, police finally rush onto the scene, looking around nervously. /"What happened here?"/ they ask, surveying the dead bodies around them and Alucard covered in gore from executing the few remaining attackers.

Ashley saved one Russian that was left in the building from being executed. She hands him over to the police.
/"Hired gunmen attacked. They were hired by a Spartak Sokolov. Heard of him?/

[PrivateNomad]

 <Affirmative. Nothing on the bodies, but the center contains a high aura signature.>
HILDA investigates the center.
Alucard walks up next to Ashley and turns, noticing her paleness.
 "Is something troubling you?"

 /"Yes."/ Bartimaeus says in Russian.
