Sing!
Rose starts to sing, her magic saturating the air as everyone feels invigorated and energetic from it. Anybody who knows how to speak Russian would probably learn the words for a new drinking song. Not entirely appropriate for the circumstances, but apparently it works with her magic just fine.
-60 Mana.Kate shoots the man in the balls.
[55 + 12 + 10 vs. 9 + 10] Hit! 69 damage! Kate tries to shoot the man in the balls. However she misses and only manages to perforate his lungs and several other vital lungs with her shot. Her second shot misses completely, as the man collapses from all of the trauma he received. How rude.
Ashley curses in Russian before teleporting out into the hallway behind a gunman, slicing at his neck.
[29 + 20 + 10 vs. 53] Hit (barely)! 59 damage! Ashley curses loudly and teleports behind a gunman. The gunman, caught flat footed by her suddenly appearing behind him, tries to duck out of the way. Ashley manages to adjust the angle of her blow by enough, slashing the arteries in the neck open. The man lets out a faint gurgling noise before he quickly bleeds to death.
-10 Mana.Alice paused for a moment inside the closest, she was torn on what she should do. She was shaking, she looked towards Rose, she stilled her shaking slightly.
In the end she waited until the gunfire had sounded, then she went out the closest and tried tackling one of the gunmen
[37 + 20 + 10 vs. 24 + 10] Hit! 25 damage! Alice decides that she is indeed a badass, and runs out to tackle one of the gunmen while he's distracted by Ashley. The two collapse into a big heap with Alice on top of the assailant, who whacks his head hard on a door handle as they go down. Blood pours freely from his wound, but he curses and tries to break free of her grip, so he's not completely down yet.
Fire!
[11 + 15 + 10 vs. 31 + 10] Miss! Professor Filipov ducks out of his little hidey-hole and sees Alice and Ashley tangling with the attackers, and decides that firing into the melee is probably not the best idea right now.
Attack!
[32 + 5 vs. 44 + 20] The assailant pinned by Alice tries to break out of her grip, but either she is stronger than she looks or he's still woozy from the blow he received, for she manages to easily keep him down despite his struggles.
[45 + 10 vs. 23 + 15 + 10] Hit! 66 damage! The other gunman, seeing things going south, fires a burst from his uzi at Filipov, and then runs for the staircase, abandoning his comrade. Filipov is caught completely by surprise and several bullet wounds, but somehow he's still standing.
Grenade!
A explosion resounds in Filipov's office. Good thing that Ashley left it, or she might have been caught by the grenade, huh?
