Tobias throws his bracelet off and makes sure Ester's is off as well before beginning.
"Once upon a time, there was a kid that lived in California. He had a pretty happy life, even though he was only 16 so far. His experiences weren't terrible, nor were they extravagant or spectacular. His friends were close, and his enemies few, realistically. One day on his walk home, since he didn't live far from school, he crossed the same street as always, except this time, he had gone home a little later than normal and it was dark outside. Sadly, he crossed said street at a bad time, as there was active gang activity at night. He got pulled into a dark alley moments after crossing the street by a member of a local gang, who threatened to shoot him. He ended up being shot in the heart by this thug, who ran, out of fear. As this kid breathed his last breathes, a spirit trapped on this earth decided he would take an opportunity. So, instead of letting this kid die a slow and painful death, the spirit possessed the kid's body, and forced the kid's soul into the heavens. But in turn, the spirit was stuck in the boy's body, forced to walk the earth for as long as the body lived. And for the rest of eternity, that same spirit will be forced to stay on the earth, until relieved by the god that has made him stay..."
Tobias's gazes stays locked on the ground as he finishes.

Ester thinks for a few moments, and then sighs, "You're talking about yourself, aren't you? Then could you repeat the parts about the spirit and soul stuff but more clearer? And does this mean what I think I mean?"

"That you're going to ascend into the sky or something? I have no clue."
