Alice looked at ICARUS for a while and then sighed
"I... I do worry about... about you though. I... I know your... your not fine, I... I wouldn't be." Alice looked down "Why... Why can't I... I make every... everyone happy?"

"And why is it that you want out of this world so badly?"

"Alice, stop that. I do not want to know if you want to make me happy, I want to know if you love me. If that is not the case, then by all means, tell me so. The longer you wait, the more it will hurt."

"Many reasons. See if souls and heaven exist, Finding out if I actually am a robot or not, never being a huge disappointment to my friends and family. Things like that."

For a while Alice didn't speak, she simply stared at the door. Finally she opened her mouth
"I... I do" she paused "I... I love both... both of you"

"Was that so difficult? This is what I wanted to hear. Well, not quite, but you get what I mean. That alone will suffice to motivate me to wait. Again, I mean no offence, but Rose is self-centered. If you love me, then in the long run, there is no way I will lose to her. Even now, she is just feeling guilty because for once, someone pointed her own behaviour out to her. Would she have felt guilty about her behaviour if I hadn't pointed it out? Maybe. But I doubt it. If what you just said is true, and not just said to make me feel better, then I do not feel threathened in the slightest. Now then, netball?"

"Heh... I did once. Didn't turn out well for me. I was like you, once. Always wanting to just end it because I was a disappointment. I didn't have anyone to hold me back, unlike you though. So, I ended it the first chance I got."

"Besides, things are going decent for you. I mean, Ea is your patron god. Last time I checked, he was still waiting for you to make something remarkable."
