"So, that wen't pretty well. And there are really people who say violence is no solution. Zhengara was really in no condition for anymore tricks, so I am carefully optimistic that he did indeed remove the curse from all victims. So Alice. How are you?"

Bartimaeus appears to be engraving something on a slab of stone.

A certain red-haired fencer woman in a spy catsuit and mink coat can be seen helping
Susanoo can be seen somewhere nearby, assisting in vampire slaying. This is his turf too dammit.

Screams and shouts are heard a distance from where they are slaying, followed by steps of what sounds like an angry mob and someone running.

Seriously, though, Marie is probably being Petra or something. Who? The German equivalent of Camille. Armed with an almost as cool arsenal though. 1" diameter flareguns. Hurray, shotpistols!

 "GET AWAY FROM HERE, YOU THING!" a shout is heard, followed by crying.
A girl is seen running from a small group of 4 people, all holding torches and knives which appear to be made of silver.

 "I-I'm sorry... So so sorry..!" the girl stammers as she is cornered by the group in an alley.

Ashley appears between the group and the girl, holding her katana to her side.

The people step back from Ashley, but still shout insults at the girl.
 "THAT BEAST KILLED GEORGE!" a tall, bearded man shouts as he wields a silver knife, flaunting it towards the girl. The girl turns away and begins to cry.
