Kyle hugs her back his eyes fluttering as he becomes sleepier.

Rachel slowly bends down and picks up the eyeball.

Several seconds later there is a marble-sized dent in Kayla's skull a training dummy.

Kayla falls over laughing.

"Y-you can sleep here i-if you want..." Selina starts to get out of bed to get dressed.

Kyle smiles and nods as he drifts off.

[SOLDIER First]

"I would hurt you if I didn't love you.
Or if we were into that."

Selina's blush remains as she gets dressed and tucks Kyle in before going downstairs to draw.

Kyle goes to sleep with a content sigh and a mutter of 'I love you'.

Kayla continues to laugh.

Selina gives a small smile to Kyle as she leaves. Maybe men weren't so bad afterall...

Alice relaxed in Rose's arms for a while, smiling as she did so. After a while she spoke

"Have... Have you learnt anything... anything new  about... about your markings?"

"O-oh. J-just a moment." Rose gently extracts herself from the bed, and runs to her dresser, grabbing a bunch of loose papers and bringing them over to show Alice. "These are f-from the dig. T-that F-Filipov is d-doing." Rose shows Alice the papers, which are black-and-white printouts of the various pictures that were sent from Russia. The quality of the prints is pretty horrible, but Rose points out the features as best as she can for her girlfriend's benefit, translating what bits of Cyrillic she can.

The majority of the pictures are of the various artifacts found, most of which are bits of bone and fragments of pottery though a few are different bone and stone tools. The pieces of pottery found in the dig would only be interesting to an archaeologist, but occasionally they come together to reveal the symbols worked into their surface. Rose helpfully rolls up her sleeves, pointing out the symbols on her body that match the ones on the pottery for Alice. The last few pictures are especially interesting, with one showing the half-revealed surface of a stone slab, with several more of Rose's runes painstakingly etched into the surface, along with several several circular designs of circles within circles around circles. The final couple of papers shows a plan of the dig-site and the where the various artifacts were found in relation to each other. Rose has marked these pages up with pencil, trying to find some kind of meaning in them and failing to do so.

As Rose finishes showing Alice everything, she turns to her and just waits expectantly for an answer.

Rose smiles back happily, "T-thank you. I h-hope so too... And... it m-means that we're one s-step closer too..." Rose pauses for a moment, and then sets the papers aside to hold Alice's hands. "I-I don't know w-what, but... it'll be g-great."

Selina begins drawing a ton more fantasy stuff, and is also posting pictures of her stuff onto online sites for selling stuff.
