Lunette gets into position inside her circles, takes a deep breath, and then waves her hands to start the procedure. Suddenly parts of the circle burst into flame, with different colours and intensities in different parts of the circles. Besides the initial burst of fire, the rest of the ritual is strangely quiet. Lunette simply mutters under her breath, making the appropriate hand gestures while Rose stands in her spot and looks around nervously. Finally the ritual ends as the fires on the circle all spurt out at once. Rose stands still for a split second, before collapsing face forward with a heavy thud. Lunette looks confused.

Alice rushed forward as Rose fell to the ground, she knelt down next her obvious concern on her face.
"What... What happened?"

 "Look at the girl; she faceplanted, what a laugh." he said, throwing a popcorn piece into his mouth.

Lunette scratches at her head, "I think I know. Maybe."

"Look at the girl; she faceplanted, what a laugh." he said, throwing a popcorn piece into his mouth.

"Oh." Lunette nods slowly, and then starts cleaning up.

Alucard approaches rose as well, eyeing over here in curiosity.

Rose is obviously not breathing. Or blinking.

Lunette scratches at her head, "I think I know. Maybe."

Alice shook Rose slightly
"She's... She's not breathing we... we need to get help"

"She'll be back," Lunette says, still unconcernedly cleaning up.

Rose doesn't respond to the shaking.

Marie check's Rose's heartbeat. Hi, Marie.

"Her soul had... an enchantment on it. One that causes it to leave the body before it dies and go... somewhere. So she'll be sent back by whoever sent her here eventually."

"...So you just sent her soul off to the unknown? How could you be sure of such a thing? And even if you are...that's not exactly kind."

Bartimaeus continues to smile, as if a strange pleasure is washing over him.

 "That is peculiar..."

[Kansa]

"Her soul had... an enchantment on it. One that causes it to leave the body before it dies and go... somewhere. So she'll be sent back by whoever sent her here eventually."

"Isn't... Isn't there anything we can do? If... If she's gone too long her body will start to rot won't it?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"...So you just sent her soul off to the unknown? How could you be sure of such a thing? And even if you are...that's not exactly kind."

"Not off into the unknown, but I don't know exactly where it is. But it's definitely some place where the soul can exist without a body, otherwise what would be the point of such an enchantment? And I'm sure because I analyzed her curse earlier, but obviously I missed something if I couldn't break the spell in time."

"Isn't... Isn't there anything we can do? If... If she's gone too long her body will start to rot won't it?"

"She'll arrive with a new body," Lunette says confidently.

"Interesting..."
Bartimaeus continues to smile, as if a strange pleasure is washing over him.

There is a knock on the front door of the castle.
